WARNING: SUICIDE, MENTIONS OF SUICIDE, DEPRESSION
Okay, so here's my first sad one. Yes, this is based off the song by twenty on pilots. Though, I decided I'd do this one differently to what I've seen before. This one doesn't actually have any talking or names, so you can imagine who you want it to be, but I just had Nogla in my head for this. Anyway, enjoy! Get your tissues ready lol

Darkness shrouded over the sky, clouds covered the stars. Snowflakes descended from the air and faintly caressed the ground below, blanketing the city in white. It was late and the road was nearly free from any drivers, except for one reluctant man who was heading north. The air began to feel a little thin as he drove further and further away from the only place he wanted to be.
He had just left his girlfriend's house and had to head home. He had visited for a few days, staying there every night so he could keep her safe. They had missed each other as they didn't have to chance to see each other often. But his visit was urgent and needed; and now, he didn't want to leave.
She was in pain. Crippling, aching, depressive pain. While he was always there for her, she still felt lonely, like nobody cared or wanted her. She hurt, and he did everything he could to make her feel better. So, he drove for hours to see her—to protect her. He drove through the country just for her. But now he had to go.
She stood on her porch, leaning against the frame, and watched as he got into his car and drove off. As the miles added up behind him, he began to envy the headlights heading south—the headlights almost mocking him for not staying. He wanted to crack the car door open and just fall out so he could run back and hug her once again. But when he remembered she had packed his car with his things to take back home, he realised she had packed her heart in the backseat. It remained buckled up for him to drive away with. And now, he began to understand why God died.

Several minutes had passed and she was still standing there, lingering, awaiting his return. She had hoped he hadn't actually left, but the lack of his reappearance disappointed her. She hadn't been healed completely during the time he was there, and quickly, she began crumbling on her porch late at night. She wasn't ready for him to go; she wasn't ready for this moment. Maybe he didn't actually love her. If he had stayed, it would have proved that he wanted to be with her. Right?
Tears streamed down her face as she dashed back inside, slamming the front door behind her. The salty tears blinded her and she couldn't tell right from wrong, let alone notice the demons sitting, waiting on her porch.
As she ran inside, she made sure to turn off the lights in each room, darkening the house and setting the atmosphere. She stumbled into the kitchen, hands reaching out in front of her to find what she was looking for. Her fingertips grazed the cold metal of the drawer and immediately it was snapped open. Surely, he wouldn't miss me, right? If he left so soon, then obviously he didn't want to be here.
Pills, pills, pills, she thought. Where are they?
Clink.
Perfect. She grabbed the container and ripped it open, medicine spilling everywhere, clacking on the floor like marbles. A handful of pills was hard to swallow, but she tried her best. She didn't bother with water, it would only waste time. She wondered when the effect would eventually kick in, it couldn't be long.
With the lights out, it was difficult to find her room, but still she staggered up the stairs, nearly tripping several times, before she made it to the landing. She still felt fine, but as more tears trickled down her face, she knew she wasn't. There wasn't any point in staying here, in this monstrous world filled with hate and greed. But what she didn't realise was that her demons were as greedy as the people who lived on this Earth; they always stole her happiness and now they're stealing her life.
