Hearts On Fire

Chapter 1

This is the first chapter of 'Hearts On Fire'. I hope you like it. This is the first fanfiction of mine that I'm actually publishing.

Danielle's P.O.V

"One of the biggest pop/rock bands 'Hearts On Fire' has just released their new album 'Killer Love' and it's already #1 on all of the charts. People are going absolutely mad. It's crazy how big they've become in a matter of only two years." I heard a woman on the television say. It's true. It is crazy how big we've become. I'd never dreamed that we'd become this big. All the concerts and signings we do is mad. I can't even leave the house without having to stop to take pictures and sign autographs but I'm not complaining. I love the fans.

Right now I'm going to meet up with two of my favourite people on the planet, Luke Hemmings and Harry Styles, my two best friends. They are super sweet and so understanding about everything to do with this lifestyle because it's theirs as well. We get along really well. Lately, Luke and I have been trying to set Crystal up with Ashton but it hasn't worked. We're literally on Plan E. I don't understand why it hasn't worked because Luke told me that Ashton has a crush on Crystal as well. I guess some things don't happen that easily.

I got to our hang out place, we've got different ones for different countries. They are always secluded and private so we can talk about personal things without being interrupted. Luke and Harry aren't here yet. They're always late but they've got way more fans to meet than I do.

A few minutes later, the two boys walked in. "Sorry Danny. A whole bunch of people were outside our hotel so we went and met some of them before we left," Harry said.

"It's alright, you're here now,"

"So Danz, Hearts on Fire is #1 all over. How great is that?" Luke asked.

"It's sick. Never in a million years did I think we'd be #1 anywhere. It's fucking crazy! When I found out I cried. Thank god we've got such amazing supporters. I'm so happy." I tell them.

"That's great! How's the big brother?" Harry questions.

"Zed? He's great."

"Is he still 'with' Chloe?" Luke asks curiously.

"Sadly, yes. Management says that until the band breaks up, no one can know about Aaron and Zed's relationship other than very close family and friends. It's a bummer. Him and Aaron want to come out so badly. They want fans to love them for who they truly are, not what management makes them."

"I know how they feel. If only Lou and I could come out. We'd know who our true fans are but we won't be able to. Stupid Modest! messes everything up. I want the world to see how much I love Louis but according to them, it will ruin our whole career." Harry said

"It's a shame really," I said, which earned a nod from Harry and Luke.

For the rest of the day we talked about random crap like If scarecrows were related to clowns, if clouds were made out of cotton candy and any other stupid thing we could think of. After that, we went to dinner at a little, secluded restaurant and then went back to our separate hotels.

When I got back to my room, Zed was sitting on my bed. I just realized how alike our looks are. We've got the same blue eyes, same black, straight hair and other facial features, even though we're five years apart. When he turned to face me, I saw a huge smile on his face but yet, it was gleaming with tears.

"What's wrong big bro?"

"Danz, Aaron proposed to me!" He squealed.

"He did what? He proposed?! Congratulations!"

"Thanks Danz. I just thought that you should be the first to know cause like... your my sister and stuff. So yeah." He said awkwardly.

"Oh this is wonderful. My brother really is all grown up," I say hugging him. He smiles at me and hugs me back.

"I love you Danz but I really should be getting back to Aaron," he said

"Okay. Adios mi hermano,"

"Adios mi hermana," he said as he got up and walked out of my room.

After that short conversation, I had a shower, got into my pajamas and fell into a peaceful slumber.
