Chapter 15 ♡

15 : Upset

It's Monday morning. Everyone was preparing to go to school. Yoona picks up Jonghyun's necklace and wears it without thinking about her promise.

"Hi" Sehun smiles.

"Hello" Yoona smiles back.

"Did you have a good sleep?"

"Of course I did"

Sehun glances at Yoona's neck and he notice the necklace she's wearing isn't his. He became upset all of a sudden.

What did I even expect? I knew she wouldn't wear it, but ugh never mind. Promises aren't meant to be kept after all. Sehun thought.

Sehun kept his head down for the whole session until its finally break time. He quickly walks to Luhan and gestures him to meet at roof.

"What's the matter dongsaeng?" Luhan asks patting Sehun's shoulder.

"You knew about it right?" Sehun asks.

"Knew about what?"

"The necklace..."

"Ah. I knew about it last night"

"Who gave it to her?"

"It's who you think it is"

"Hmmm"

"S-Sehun ah you're okay right?"

"I-I'm okay. I don't feel well. I'll go home now"

"Wae? Are you hurting anywhere?"

"I feel dizzy and I feel like I want to puke"

"O-Oh. Do you want me to go with you?"

"I-I'm fine. I can go alone. Excuse me. I'll head home first. I'll see you at home hyung"

"Take care. I'll buy some porridge for you on my way home"

"T-Thanks hyung"

Sehun quickly rushes downstairs to the teacher's office and ask permission for leaving because of his sickness.

He went into the classroom and packs his stuff.

"Sehun, where are you going?" Yoona asks worriedly.

Sehun didn't answer. He just rushes out.

When Luhan arrives, Yoona went up to ask Luhan.

"Oppa. What happened to Sehun?"

"He feels nauseous. He wants to go home"

"O-oh. Do you know why he feels like that?"

"Maybe he didn't get enough sleep or he didn't eat anything"

"Hmmm"

"Do you want to visit him after school?"

"Ah yes. Sure"

Yoona was sitting alone during the whole day. Suddenly Jonghyun came up to her after the class ends.

"Yoona!" he smiles.

"Hmm?"

"Do you want to go out today?"

"I-I'm sorry. I'm busy today"

"It's okay. We can go next time. Oh! You're wearing the necklace"

"Hmmm. I'll see you tomorrow oppa"

Yoona quickly rushes out to meet Luhan at the gate. They drive to a porridge place. Luhan bought some porridge and they proceed home.

Yoona pours the porridge out for Sehun and brings it to his room.

Yoona saw Sehun sleeping soundly. She went near him and lightly taps on his shoulder, "Sehun?", but there was no response.

She tries again, "Sehun ah?". Sehun slowly opens his eyes. He rubs his eyes and gets up slowly.

"What are you doing here?" he asks shock.

"I'm here to see if you're okay"

"You didn't have to"

"Why are you so cold towards me?"

"You know it very well"

"What are you talking about?"

"Just think and you'll get the answer"

".... Have some porridge"

"I don't feel like it"

Yoona picks up the plate of the porridge, but Sehun pushes it away making the porridge spill and burnt Yoona's hand.

"I-I'm sorry" Sehun said.

"I-I'm okay. I'll make some soup for you"

"You don't have to. I'm fine now"

"You're not okay. Come down. It'll be ready in 30minutes"

"Yoona. I'm sorry and thank you"

Yoona smiles and went out of Sehun's room.

"What happened to your hands?" Luhan asks.

"N-nothing much"

"Tell me the truth"

"S-sehun didn't want to eat it so he pushes it away and this is how it happened"

"Hmmm. I'm sorry on his behalf"

"It's fine, but do you know why Sehun is angry towards me?"

"Look at your neck"

"A-ah I-I understand"

Yoona quickly makes the soup. Later, Sehun came downstairs with a pale face.

"Why are you so pale?" Luhan helps Sehun to sit at the dining table.

"Here. Have some soup and drink the medicine" Yoona offers.

Sehun was slurping down the soup. Seeing that Sehun likes it, Yoona was happy.

"I'll go into my room. Sort your problems out" Luhan whispers.

Yoona then pulls a chair and sits next to Sehun.

"I'm sorry" she said.

"For what?"

"For everything"

"If it's about the necklace. Never mind about it. You're gonna date him soon so it doesn't matter to me"

It really doesn't matter to you? Yoona thought.
