You want to close your eyes
And break all of the clockwork
You don't want gravity to pull you down
You want to go backwards
You want to go forwards
It's going too fast
It's going too slow
Seconds feel like hours
And hours feel like minutes
It's going too fast
It's going too slow
Twenty four hours is not enough
But a hundred years
Is an eternity away
There's all of this time
We have on our hands
That we don't know what to do with
It's going too fast
You want to close your eyes
And break all of the clockwork
You don't want gravity to pull you down
You want to go backwards
You want to go forwards
It's going too fast
It's going too slow
Seconds feel like hours
And hours feel like minutes
It's going too fast
It's going too slow
Twenty four hours is not enough
But a hundred years
Is an eternity away
There's all of this time
We have on our hands
That we don't know what to do with
