the forest of love and deception

I gazed out of the window of my carriage at the Enchanted Forest.

I am currently heading to Lisanna's castle to start my quest for a wife.

As I look out the window, I see two glowing red eyes starting at me in the shadows.

A few seconds later, the creature steps out of the shadows and starts rushing towards the carriage.

Of course, a vampire has to attack right before I  arrive at Lisanna's castle!

She's gonna flip when she sees the blood on my clothes!

But sadly, it can't be helped.

Sighing, I was just about to open the door, when suddenly, the vampire disappeared in a flash of gold.

I was silent for a few seconds, before shrugging and making the carriage move again.

...

After about an hour later, we finally reached  Lisanna's castle, where I was immediately welcomed.

Lisanna rushed out of her castle and gave me a bear hug.

She was followed by her husband Bixlow, and the princess of the volcanic ruins, Flare.

I gave Bixlow a bro-fist and sent a small nod towards Flare.

Obviously that wasn't enough, because she suddenly thrust her hand in front of my face.

" Kiss it.", She purred, giving me a sly look.

Giving a shiver of disgust, I gave her hand a quick peck, and I instantly regretted it.

By lips started to burn and turn numb.

" How do you like my new hand rub? I used  the pollen from a cactuses flower to make it  smell good and soft!"

I heard Lisanna gasp in horror.

" Flare! He's allergic to succulents!"

I was immediately rushed to the castles infirmary and treated thoroughly.

What a great day.
