It was a wet and dreary day when May had a grand idea.
"Let's play a game of hide and seek!" she exclaimed.
Mark, the oldest, said, "Aren't we too old for that?"
"Don't say that. You just hate playing games," Carrie, the second oldest, scolded. "I'll play. Charles, do you want to play?"
"Hmm?" he looked up from his book.
"Do you want to play hide and seek?" May shouted.
"Sure, I don't see why not," Charles sighed as he put his book down.
"See Mark. everyone else wants to play," May pleaded.
"Ok, fine but I'm not it," Mark gave in.
"I'll be it," Carrie volunteered. "1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9..."May rushed out the room with her two older brothers. Charles stepped in front of the kitchen cabinets before May could. She and Mark raced to the guest room to hide under the bed but Mark got there first.
"...20...21...22...23...24...25..."
She was close to 30. May's only other option that didn't go through the living room was to basement.
