Emily POV
We finally arrived at the airport and it was huge! My sister and I usually don't travel to places so this was different for us. I followed Mum and Dad and made sure Ruby was close by as it was so busy. I didn't want to loose her in these herd of people. We headed towards the bagging area where they checked to make sure we were carrying the right weight. I thought I was going to have to take stuff out because it felt like I packed my whole wardrobe in that thing, but I didn't have to. After waiting for what felt like decades we were finally done... We're going to California I thought before sitting down next to Ruby on the plane when my eyes started to get heavier and heavier until I was fast asleep. I had been exhausted from the drive up here and making sure I had everything I needed for the trip. The flight was supposed to take a long time. 895 MILES!! It sounded like such a long time, but getting to Cali would be worth it!

Ruby POV
My eyes were getting heavier when I drifted off to sleep..

Dream

I remembered everything. We argued everyday, we never agreed and sometimes we wouldn't even look at each other. Emily, on the other hand, didn't believe me, she never believed that Mum and I would argue but something didn't seem right in the family. We don't look anything like them. We have no features of theirs which makes me wonder are they actually our parents? And if they weren't who do we belong to?....

End of dream

"We will be landing in a few moments everyone so please find your seats get ready to land," I heard our flight attendant yell. I woke up and stretched out in my seat when I whispered,  "Em, get up we're landing." I watch as she stretches yawned and rubbed her eyes open.
"Hey sleepy head," I whisper so I don't scare her.
"Hey sis, how long have I been sleeping?" She asked tiredly.
I look at my phone screen before replying, "4 hours at least."
I watch her face as it turns to shock when I see Mum and Dad looking at us.

I turn my head away and look out the window and see the sun shining. "Welcome to California we hope u enjoy your stay," our flight attendant announced. I put my phone in my back pocket and unbuckled my seatbelt, I stood up and grabbed my bag and flung it over my shoulder and watched as Emily led us off the plane. I followed her and waited for Mum and Dad whe proclaimed, "This is what I could get used to!" I saw Mum and Dad off when they approached us, "Come on let's go and get our suitcases and head to the hotel."

When we arrived at the hotel, I looked around and it was huge, the biggest place I've ever seen then I realized I'm going to be attending school around here. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard someone yell my name. I turn around and see Emily signalling me to follow. I grab my suitcase and drag it behind me to catch up to my sister and Mum and Dad. When we reach reception, they hand me and my sister the key. "Your room is 345, ladies," the receptionist happily greeted.
"Thank you," we both say simultaneously heading to our room. My sister and I open the door when Mum and Dad replied, "We're next door to you two so if u need anything just knock." We nod our heads and open our hotel door to reveal a modern room. We walk around when I yell, "There are two mirrors." My sister smiled and laughed as I started to unpack. This was going to be a long job.
