CHAPTER 12

Briana started crying and blood was leaking from her shoulder. She was shot.
Kobe and King started to panic.

"Oh shit we gotta get her to a hospital g",King said.

"My whip parked right outside",Kobe said.

Kobe helped King pick Briana up and they carefully went outside and put her in the backseat of the car. King stayed back there with her. He started to put pressure in the bullet wound. While they were driving on the interstate, King was trying to talk to Briana so her eyes would stay open. They kept rolling to the back of her head. King heart started to race.

"Stay up Briana",King said slapping her.

She enjoyed the presence of King next to her. She loved seeing his face. She was fighting to stay up but she couldn't. Her eyes closed.

"BRIANA GET UP !",he said screaming.

"What happened?",Kobe asked trying to pay attention to the road.

"She closed her eyes bro. She is still breathing but her heart rate is slowing down."

5 minutes later

Kobe was pulling up at the hospital. He ran in the hospital for help. Two doctors came out of the emergency exit door with a scretcher. King grabbed Briana out of the backseat and laid her on the scretcher. They immediately took her into the hospital and into a surgery room to start their procedure.

Kobe and King waited in the waiting room. They both had blood all over their shirts. They had forgotten all about Royalty.

Kobe told King to call Royalty. When King called she didn't answer. He called a second time and she picked up.

"Yeah?",she said in a sleepy voice.

"Royal, sis, Imma need you to come to the hospital up street",he said in a shaky voice.

"Hospital? For what King?",she said.

"I-It-It's Br-Briana",he said stuttering.

"Wait? Briana?",Royalty said in a scared voice,"what happened? Is she okay?"

"I'll tell you when you get here"

Royalty immediately jumped out her bed. She knew she had morning breath but she didn't bother even looking towards her bathroom. She just got a piece of gum and chewed it. 

Briana had been Royalty's assistant for 10 years. She would have never imagined her being in a hospital for any reason. She barely got sick and she was hardly in any trouble.

Royalty rushed down her stairs and headed outside to get into her car. She crunk it up and sped off. All she had on her mind was Briana. She didn't want to think she was dead. But for some reason her mind always thought of the negative first.

When she got to the hospital, she jumped out of  her car and rushed to the emergency area. She went inside the automatic double doors and went to the main desk to see what floor Briana was on.

"Bri-Briana Williams?",Royalty asked.

"Just a minute ma'am",the lady said.

"Floor 6, but she will be in ICU for the next 30 minutes",she added.

"Okay,thank you.",Royalty said, walking off.

Royalty headed to the elevator to go up to floor 6. When she got there, she left out of the elevator and went to the waiting room looking for Kobe and King. When she seen them, she stood in shock seeing all the blood they had over their clothes. Her eyes started to water.

"Sh-She's dead ?,Royalty asked.

Kobe and King stood up. Kobe walked up to her and gave her a hug. He told her that Briana was alive wen she was in the backseat with King but then she closed her eyes. And that they haven't came to update them on what was going on yet.

Kobe, King, and Royalty went and took a seat back in the waiting room. King told Royalty everything that happened. She started crying. She thanked them for saving her from the robbery and she was praying Briana was okay.

15 minutes later

The head doctor came out of ICU. Kobe, King,and Royalty raised up and walked to them.

"Briana is doing well and she is fighting. Also we got the bullet out of her shoulder and it was a successful surgery. She should be awake in the next 10 minutes. But you guys can go into the room after we move her",the doctor stated.

They thanked him and they waited 5 minutes until she was moved out of ICU to a room. When she was moved ,they entered her room. She looked healthy. The sight made Royalty heart warm. She was happy again.

They stayed in the room with Briana and waited until she woke up. Royalty sat in the chair by Briana's bed. Kobe and King sat on the sofa. They all ended up falling asleep.

Briana woke up and seen they was there. She started to smile because they was like the only family she had. Her mother and father died in a home invasion and her oldest brother died in a car accident, so she was told.

Royalty started moving in her sleep. Briana called her name as loud as she could. Her voice was dry and raspy but Royalty heard her.

"Boss?",Briana said very low.

Royalty smiled,"Hey Bri, how you feel boo?"

"Terrible",Briana responded.

They both laughed. Royalty told her about what King said about her and how he helped the doctors get her onto the skretcher. Briana told her how he saved her from the robbers and how he got her into the car and tried to keep her up.

Royalty was so glad that Briana was okay. She felt bad that she thought the worst of the situation but she couldn't help it.
