CHAPTER 25

Briana's POV

My adrenaline was rushing. I hoped and prayed that everyone was okay. I don't know what I would do if I went downstairs to see one of my loved ones hurt. I jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs. I looked into the kitchen to only see Royalty and Kobe. I felt like my soul had just left my body.

"Wh-Where is King?",Briana said in a shaky voice.

She didn't want to believe that it was King who was outside. She couldn't believe it.

Kobe walked passed Briana outside,Royalty and Briana followed. When they got a outside they seen bullet holes in the door and as they turned their head, they seen King on the ground, bleeding out, grasping for air.

Briana dropped down to her knees and picked King up into her arms. There was blood everywhere. Royalty immediately called 9-1-1 when they answered she could barely talk.

"My br-brother ha-has been sh-shot", she said stuttering with tears streaming down her face.

"What is the address? ",the operator said onto the phone.

"682 Wi-Winwood Dr",she answered.

"A car and ambulance will be sent in a minute",the operator said.

Royalty felt like they didn't have a minute. She ran into the house and grabbed her car keys off of the kitchen counter. She then ran back outside and got into her car.

"COME ON!",she yelled honking her horn.

Kobe picked King up carefully and put him into the backseat of Royalty's car. He then got into the backseat with King. He took his shirt off and put pressure on the wound. Kobe was surprised he only got hit once due to the fact he heard several gun shots.

"Come on g, don't die on me." Kobe started with tears starting to stream down his face. As he looked down he saw King starting choking on his blood.

"Royalty come on man he losing to much blood. " King spat at Royalty rocking back and forth with King in his arms.

They finally pulled up to the hospital, Royalty went in and got the nurses. They came flying out with a scretcher. Kobe helped them put King onto the stretcher. Briana and Royalty jumped out of the car following behind the nurses and doctors.

"Gun shot wound to the chest, heartbeat is slowing.. ",one of the nurses ratted on.

Kobe, Royalty, and Briana was following right along side King as they were taking him to ICU.

"This as far as you all can go. We got it from here",the nurse told them.

"We will be in the waiting room baby",Briana cried out.

The nurse closed the door and they immediately started procedures. Briana, Kobe, and Royalty went into the waiting room. They sat there for hours and hours.

Around 8, the doctor that was the main doctor of the surgery came out to speak to them.

"Royalty White? ",he called out.

She got up and proceeded towards him.

"The bullet that hit him went straight through. He lost a lot of blood but he is doing fine",the doctor explained.

"Also he wants to see you. All of you",he then added.

Royalty rushed to the back while Briana and Kobe followed. When they got to the back, King had so many machines hooked up to him. Briana dropped down to her knees. She couldn't stand to see him like that, it broke her heart. Royalty sat on the floor with Briana comforting her. Tears streamed down Kobe face as he walked over to the bed.

"I'm so fucking sorry g. I promise you whoever did this shit to you, they gone get theirs and that's on my moms",Kobe said with his voice cracking.

"Don't do nothing stupid bro. I'm in pain but I'm good. They can't take you being in here to g. We will handle this whenever I get better. They probably think I'm dead anyways so we gone let them think that",King said in a raspy voice.

Kobe shook King hand and nodded at him. He still was determined to find out who it was to shoot at his brother. And the fact that they came to his home. He didn't appreciate that shit at all.

Briana and Royalty finally got up off the floor. They walked towards King's bed. He started smiling. When they got to the bed, Briana leaned over King.

"I am so sorry this happened to you baby",Briana said sniffling.

"This is not your fault baby girl",King said in a very low tone.

"I feel like it is though. I could have stopped you from leaving this morning. You would have still been in bed with me",Briana explained.

"It would have still happened though baby"

"Not like this"

After Briana and King talked. Briana got up and walked out of the room. Royalty then went over to speak with her brother. Her heart crushed seeing him like that.

"Hey baby sis",King said weakly.

"Hey big bro",Royalty said sniffling.

She tried to be strong for him but she couldn't keep holding the tears in.

Royalty burst out into tears,"I'm so sorry this happen to you King. I should've stopped you from going out of that door. I could've stopped you"

"It is no ones fault Royal",King said.

He then added,"It is no way you could've known that was going to happen."

"I hope you be okay man and they better pray you pull through with this",Royalty then said in anger.

Briana and Kobe then came back into the room. King told them that they were going to move because too many people was watching them and knew where they laid their heads at. He also told them that he was going to get security that was army trained. Everyone agreed with King. He told Briana and Royalty to go and do the interviews for the security and they left. He then told Kobe to go back home and look at the security footage to see who shot him.

Kobe sped off. When he got to the house he immediately ran to the security room and rolled the cameras back. He recognized the face instantly. His whole body got hot, his eyes got bucked. He couldn't believe the fact that the nigga that shot his brother was his cousin, Rico.
