Five: Jughead and Betty Get Hot

"You have to tell me what's going on. This is crazy – you just hit Tony!" he cried, just as rattled as she was, holding her arm tightly.

"Why?" he demanded.

"The Black Hood...he's been calling me – threatening me. He said if I didn't break up with you he would kill you."

Jughead looked like he was going to cry. He pulled her in close and held her to his chest. "I can't believe this. You should have told me! I'm such a monster – I was so hurt when you broke up with me that I started seeing Tony right after."

Betty pulled away. "That broke my heart Jug. But I understood why you did it."

"Betty I..." Jughead took a sharp breath and leaned his forehead against hers. "I love you."

A small smile made it's way onto Betty's lips. "I love you too Jug..."
