Pretty Little Flaws

Stretch marks and cellulite
Won't win any beauty pageants

Acne and it's scars
Won't get you a date

Frizzy hair and ends that split
Won't make you a model

"Too much weight!"
"No, too little"

"You can't (blank) looking like that!"

Looking in a mirror
What's reflecting back?

Look into your eyes
Do they shine with pride?
Or tears you try to hide?

Or are they simply dull?
Devoid of youthful, hopeful, light?

Looking in a mirror
Look at every inch
See every imperfection
And I beg
I beg of you
Cherish that reflection
For who would you be at the end of it all?
Without every single one
Of your pretty little flaws
