It's been years. Jungkook had been dead for years, and the world mourned. His dear fans, his friends, and his family—everyone heard the news when his plane crashed while he was returning from Jeju Island.

He and 14 others had died upon arrival at the hospital. The staff said Jungkook had been waiting for his family and his pregnant girlfriend to arrive. He held on for as long as he could, but after an hour of waiting, he passed away.

Y/n was only a minute away when she entered his room, only to hear the flatline of his monitor. It was obvious that he had left the world.

For weeks, y/n was a mess. She couldn't eat unless it was for the baby. The only thing that kept her grounded was the growing life inside her, kicking rapidly for a bite of fresh food. The baby could hear now, and it seemed that the fetus was the only thing holding her on earth. If she left, who would care for the baby?

Jungkook's family cut all ties with her. They were afraid that seeing her or the baby would break them. Fans gave her backlash for not crying at the funeral, and the rest of BTS only stayed for a few minutes before leaving her behind. Everyone moved on.

A few years ago...

"Mmm, give me another one," y/n replied, smiling at Jungkook as she sat on the kitchen counter. He was tired but still made the effort to bring a strawberry to her lips. She bit into it, savoring the juicy sweetness.

She sighed softly, glancing at the computer in front of her. Jungkook, standing next to her, took the opportunity to give her a loving kiss. Surprised at first, y/n quickly recovered and kissed him back. Jungkook smirked and gently scooted her to the edge of the table.

"I know we just found out you're pregnant... but a few more rounds wouldn't hurt, right?" Jungkook teased in a raspy voice.

Y/n flushed, looking away. "J-Jeon Jungkook... You really are restless," she yelled at him as he suddenly picked her up and ran into their room. Their laughter echoed through their shared home, both of them unable to contain their joy.

They were arranged to marry, but they had truly fallen in love. They didn't want the world to know they were married, so they just referred to each other as boyfriend and girlfriend, a little secret they kept from everyone around them.

Later that night...

Y/n was asleep on the bed, the moonlight casting a soft glow over her. To Jungkook, she looked like an angel, ready to ascend to heaven. It was her birthday, and she was three months pregnant. They had planned to enjoy themselves until she reached her fourth month, which was only a week away.

"My lovely girl... Wait, wife... I love you so much," he whispered, getting up from the bed. He walked to the window where a small desk was, opened a drawer, and took out a small ring. It was a 5-carat ring with bunnies encrusted on it. Jungkook smiled as he slid the ring onto her right-hand ring finger.

"I'll always protect you... no matter what happens to me or to us," he whispered again before cuddling her back into bed. He kissed her forehead as he drifted back to sleep, the warmth of his body wrapping around her.

Y/n smiled a little in her sleep, comforted by his warmth on the cold night.

Those were memories—only the ones y/n wanted to remember.

She gave birth a month after Jungkook's funeral, naming their son after him. "Jungkook... Mommy's little angel. It's just you and me against the world," she whispered as he held her finger.

No one visited her in the hospital. She was completely alone in the world, but now, with her son, she finally felt happiness.

End.

Sorry this was short. I'm really tired, trying to update both of my books and get ready to restart my Min Yoongi book from my hacked account. Plus, there's another book about love and race differences coming soon. Anyway, annyeong! See you next time! Waves, then dabs with BamBam of GOT7 Bye!
