Jack's P.O.V

I decided I was gonna talk to Oscar about it later, maybe when I got to know him a little better. But for now, I had to help him through Maths.

He didn't know much about Maths at all.

I managed to help him through the class, but got stopped on the way out.

'Hey Jack? Oscar?'

'Yes sir?' We both said in unison.

'Could you hang back for a bit, there's something I need to talk to you about.'

'Uh...ok...' The rest of the class filed out of the door and headed off to our next class.

'Now, it's clear to me that you're struggling with trigonometry Oscar.'

'Uh....yeah...it's...'

'Nononono! Don't feel ashamed, we all have our weak points. I just want to find a way to deal with it. So, what I'm going to do, is find a room, probably one of the study booths in the library, and I want you two to go there every maths class, so Jack can help you with your trigonometry. Is that ok with you boys?'

'Yes sir.' We both said in unison again.

He dismissed us and we headed over to our English class. 'Are you ok with that Oscar?'

'Yeah, it'll be good, we get to know each other and maybe you can help me get better at maths.'

'Yeah. And we can talk whenever we want, about whatever we want.'

'True.' We reached the English class and walked in, the teacher wasn't even there yet. We took our places in the front corner, and Oscar managed to find a spot in the row behind.

A few minutes after we sat down the teacher walked in, not even noticing Oscar. She set up at the desk and then turned to the class and began talking about what we were gonna be doing. Oscar seemed to follow along the class pretty well. As we neared the end, when people began packing away, the teacher noticed Oscar, and ran over and introduced herself.

The bell went a few minutes later.

'Hey, I'm going to the canteen, wanna come with?' - Ibanez

'Uh...sure, Oscar?'

'What? Huh...oh...yeah, sure.'

We walked over to the canteen and took out place at the end of the line. It took a while to get to the front, but when we did, Ibanez placed her order and the lady went to get it sorted. After she payed, we all walked off, back to the Maths block hallway. When we got there, there seemed to be a party happening. Someone had their speaker out and everyone was dancing.

'What's happening?' - Oscar

'Oh, they are like this sometimes, they like music and dancing.'

'But don't the teachers care?'

'They're pretty good, they let us listen to music as long as we're quiet when they have tests, or lunchtime classe.'

'Oh...wow.'

We ate our lunch, and discussed our life's a little bit, but I decided I was gonna talk to Oscar about the being gay thing when we had the Maths class thing.
