A/N: get yo tissues

Sung Jiyeon's POV

"What a beautiful day!" I said happily, stretching my limbs even though it's nearly afternoon. Nothing bad could happen today because I can feel that it will be nice and peaceful. (My thought earlier)

"I know right." replied Jimin, smiling while peeking at the top of the newspaper. But it quickly changed into a frown when he looked at his newspaper again.

My expression was skeptical with his act. He's been acting strange and he's really quiet today than yesterday, what on earth is happening to him?

"Hey, is there anything wrong?" I asked him worriedly, peeking to the left for him to see me behind his newspaper.

He looked shaken but he quickly covered it with a smile, a fake one, "Oh, nothing. I mean — there is, dad is actually planning to make me as CEO of another company." he explained, an odd tone in his voice.

Lie.

I can feel that he's lying but why do I want to know the real truth? I shouldn't waste this special time with him.

I nodded, "Okay," I said, when he didn't respond I went on, "Hey, I actually want to go to the park. I've missed those moments when we're hanging there." I suggested, he finally smiled, the real one, and took my hand.

"But I do like you."

The confession that made my world crazy. I also confessed that I do like him too but then I said that I needed space because I haven't moved on on that time, he said that it'll be okay and that he can wait. What a charming person.

"Jimin, thank you." I said, smiling at him. His stare made me melt like an ice cream. Why is he so hot?

He tucked a hair behind my ear and looked at my eyes directly that I can hardly breathe because that stare is a freaking lifetaker, "No problem." he smiled back.

"You know what? It'll be great if Jeongyeon is here." I stated, I saw how he shifted his weight to one foot. I was puzzled but ignored the thought, "You two barely know each other, right?"

His eyes seemed to be uncontrollable, "Y-Yeah, I-I think but I can see her sometimes w-when I was still in c-college." he laughed, a force one.

"Jimin, tell me. Is there anything that you should be telling me?" I asked him, not sounding harsh. I remained looking at him blankly, waiting for his response.

"Nothing, I don't seem to —"

His phone rang.

His breathing became fast.

I looked like an immature kid wanting a lollipop. Why is he like this?

"W-What?!"

He almost dropped his phone. He then quickly grabbed my hand and ran to his car, making me puzzled.

"Jimin, what the heck is happening?" I asked, he started the engine and ignored my question. His hands were shaking.

He also looked like he was about to cry.

I'm nervous.

"J-Jimin, please tell me. What's happening?" I begged but he still didn't respond because he was focusing on his driving.

He was driving fast that the images at the window were blurry. I held on the car seat tightly.

"Please tell me, I feel like I needed to know."
