Dear Readers,

I feel like I should address this even know I don't want to. But I feel like I owe you guys an explanation. I will no longer be including Emilio and Ivan Martinez in my FanFictions. I just don't mean this one. I mean all of them that are about Team 10. It came as a shock to me as probably as well as to you. At first I thought it was clickbait but after a few minutes in to the video, I realized it wasn't. It was the truth. I don't have a lot of information on the topic at this current moment. I do wish the Martinez Twins the best in their Youtube career. Now I am going to state the letter Team 10 put out on Twitter case anyone does not have a twitter account. But I thought I should let you guys know why, I will not be having them in my books anymore.

Dear Team 10 Family.

Watching and listening to the video the Emilio and Ivan Martinez posted yesterday is just as shocking to us, as it is to all of you.

Jake and Team 10 found Emilio and Ivan in the middle of Spain, living an unfortunate situation. Team 10 saw incredible potential with the Martinez Twins and Jake decided to fly to Spain to meet with them. Jake was fortune enough to stay in Spain several days and was incredible upset with their living situation. We took immediate action and book their flights to Los Angeles. We were all passionate about helping them and giving them an opportunity to help themselves and their family.

During the first few months in Los Angles, Jake and Nick personally paid out of their pockets for everything they needed. They quickly became two of the most adored members of Team 10 and were truly apart of our family, which is why this comes as a shock to all of us.

We lived together, laughed together, and fell out together, but we always sat down and made up like all families do. What they said in the video simply isn't true. If they ever said anything, we would've addressed the problem like a real family does. We all took them under our wings and made sure they were all taken care of. If they had ever expressed concern, it would've immediately.... and they know that.

Just two weeks ago, we were all at this year's Youtube Rewind shoot. At the shoot, there was no indication that anything was wrong. While there, Emilio and Ivan were planning videos with Jake, Erika, and Tessa and everything was fine. We all knew that something was off that wasn't like them.

Unfortunately, due to Team 10's growing faster than we could ever imagined, Ivan and Emilio opted to hire an external manager, Morgan Terrelle, who Jake introduced them to as an effort to get as much help and attention for the twins as possible. Jake loves the twins and wants the best for them, in spite that Morgan severely mismanaged a situation Jake was personally and negatively affected by in the past, Jake is all about seconded chances for people and he connected the twins with Morgan to help them both, which is why this is so painful for Jake and all of us. We all had our eyes opened by this situation and would urge everyone in our community( and beyond) to take extreme caution if you ever consider working with a manager, make sure you speak to past clients and do your due diligence before getting involved with someone that may potentially damage your future.

We are all heartbroken to lose two member of our family. Jake is particularly hurt by this, he was the one that found them and put his time and resources into getting them to where they are now. We all believe in them, loved them, and supported them and having that thrown in our face is a shame and honestly, none of this feels like it's really coming from them. It doesn't add up, none of us or anyone that is close to them feels like this is something they would do, which is why this is so hard to understand.

As difficult as this is for all of us to process and as much as social media and Youtube will be exploiting this situation and all us for clickbait and views, we are a family and a unified team. Team 10 's core value is about spreading nothing but positivity. We will take this as a lesson and grow as a result and we wish Emilio and Ivan the best.
