A promise to keep

"In the house of trust, you keep a promise and you add a single brick; break a promise and lose a wall"

He held both my hand and wrapped his fingers around mine. Then, he smiled fondly at me.

"My hands are cold, share some warmth with me...." He smiled at me reminding me of the Christmas night we spent together. I smiled back at him. We started talking again about this and that...

"How was your day Kookie?" I asked him, curious to know how Jungkook spent his day.  

 "It was good. A really good day, but the problem is that it was a bit long" Jungkook said. He too thinks the day was long. "I couldn't wait to meet you up. Did you miss me today?" Jungkook asked.

"Indeed, I missed you. I wish we could meet like this more often" I said a bit sadly.

"Hmm...we can meet. You can come to our dorm whenever you want, you are always welcome. Even the hyungs like you so much that they were missing you in the morning today. Jin hyung was missing your hot-chocolate so much. Since, he knew that we are meeting up today he asked me to tell you that you can always join as at our dorm" Jungkook said. I was happy that they still liked me. I missed them too. It's just been a day, but I am missing them like I miss Simmi and Nishi. I want to meet them up.

"Sure, I would love to join you all. You can also come to my house. I know it's small but even then, if you come I'll be pleased" I really will be pleased to hang out more often with the hyungs. While I was thinking, Jungkook jotted down an address on a sheet of paper and handed it to me.

"Here. This is the address. I am looking forward to meet you at our dorm. Whenever we get time, we'll come to your house" Kookie said.

"You know, Nishi and Simmi are coming to Seoul in the next week, I am really happy"

"Oh wow!!! That will be great. Bring them to our dorm. They are really very good"

"Sure. I'll try"

"Noor...."

"Hmm..." I hummed in response as I was eating my black forest.

"This scarf looks really good on you. You should wear scarfs more often"

"Thank you. It's all due to you. You have a good sense of fashion" I said, I am still not used to his complimenting...I was blushing......

We started having our respective coffees and black forest. Jungkook was still holding one of my hands... I felt comfortable around him now, unlike the first day we met at Fan Sign. I was a nervous wreck that day but still was able to pull that out nicely.

"Noor, you know I never had any other friends except my hyungs. But in you I've found my best friend. Your personality just left a mark on me when we first met. I knew there's something about you which is attracting me. You know what's the most beautiful part of interacting with you?" I shook my head in a 'No'. he continued.... "It's your smile. You never fake a smile, it comes straight from your heart. I love that about you"

"I don't need to fake a smile when such good people are around me. It comes naturally when I spend time with you and the hyungs. Generally it takes me a long time to make good friends, but with you it just took me a few days. It's not only your face, but your personality is thousand times more beautiful than just your face. That is what I see in people. Face is not as much important as the heart is." I said truthfully. I really loved him. I am deeply in love with him. But I love our friendship, so, right now I don't care if we can't be together as life-partners. Just our friendship is more than enough for me.
