Strike

They say knowledge is power,
Where I'm from it's more of alliance,
That's why fools are put in seats to lead us into pestilence.

These fatbellied locusts eat us, they are stingy devourers.
If knowledge is indeed power, they are taking away our energizers.

The souls who impact us everyday, are tired of all work and no pay.
They are fed up of drinking water with no honey or bread with weight.

These locusts have wings, they take their youngs overseas.
And the remains of what they have eaten, they give to us eat.

I can go further but this is where my knowledge stops,
The parliaments indecisiveness has injected my goals with fullstops.

We seize to look up to them, but our plans they pierce with spikes,
And our impacters have no other means but to indulge in a strike.
