Donnas pov

it's him.. it's really him, my ex boyfriend Max brown eyes brown hair and hella ripped still the same as usual I wonder if he's changed it's been a year since we went out

he was in love with me and I loved him just not in the way he loved me I figured that out a couple months into our relationship

although I felt bad so I didn't say anything about it until after a year of us dating and I felt absolutely horrible

but he took it really well of course he was hurt I mean who wouldn't be but he managed

and he was so nice about it there was sometimes when he was sweet and understanding and caring and most of the time

he was cold rude and mean never gave a care in the world about me but hey could I blame him,

I get out of my deep thought to realize I'm next in line I quickly put one of those separate bar things

and begin putting my groceries on the slider never really looking up sliding my cart towards the bagger so he could put my bags in the cart with ease

after a couple seconds I finally look up and I'm amazed,

still as beautiful as ever his arms having more muscles then before and through his white shirt you could see his six pack of abs he was definitely ripped and handsome,

as he was done scanning he finally looked up and said the amount of money I owe him..

"wait, Donna is that you?, oh my god it's been a year since I've seen you how have you been" he exclaims with a smile on his face

"max?, oh my gosh hi I didn't even
recognize it was you! I've been good what about you?" I ask basically lying

"Everything's been really good!, we should get together sometime."

"Yeah definitely!" I say even though gray definitely wouldn't be happy with that

"Here's my number call me sometime and we'll get together" he says with excitement in his voice as I take the paper with his number and hand him the money I owe him he gives me back some change "see ya" he says

"Bye!" I say back and take my cart back to the car I open the trunk and start putting my bags in there

when I'm done I put the cart back,

I get in the car and I look at the number for a while,
man he really has changed what a year can do huh

I put the number back in my purse and start to drive back home..

When I get home I grab the groceries out the back and begin
to walk towards the door to our apartment I put the groceries down in the kitchen

I see Grayson walking to me him behind me he kisses my cheek i turn around

"hey beautiful, I missed you" he said

"hi I missed you too" I say

and peck kiss his lips and turn back to the groceries and begin putting them away,

he follows me all around as a puppy would with their owner I don't ask questions though as I kinda like it I continue our conversation

"So what have you been doing without me?" I ask

"Watching tv waiting for you to get back"
he responds like it was the most obvious thing in the world

Once I finally finish he grabs my hips and pulls me towards him

and he leans in and we kiss his hands sliding up and down in my shirt

he pulls away and I whine a little until he goes to attack my neck with kisses and nibbles until finally he pulls away staring into my eyes

"I love you Donna" his voice calming and smooth

"I love you too Grayson"

we smile and give each other one last kiss I really wanna ask what's gotten into him today being so much more caring and sweet then usual

but honestly I don't wanna ruin the mood so I'll hold my tongue..
