A/N ~ For all those who are still reading, I love you <3 and I'm beyond sorry for not uploading for literally half a year. But it's done, and there's more to come! :)
Forever with you 4
Damon and I settled in pretty quickly. I woke up one morning wrapped in Damon’s arms, the perpetual red sun pouring in through the balcony window.
“Good morning darling,” He whispered.
“This is nice,” I sighed happily and wrapped my arms around his neck. I looked up into his endless black eyes and kissed him gently.
“Yes, yes it is,” he said with a smirk.
“What are we doing today?” I asked him, sweeping my hair out of the way.
“Well, I was hoping you’d agree to accompany me to a ball on Friday, so we’d have to take a little trip and get you a dress,” He said.
“Seriously?” I asked suspiciously.
“Well I guess I’m just stuck in my old Italian ways,” He blushed.
“Of course I’ll go with you D,” I said with a grin.
“Good, we’re meeting my dear brother at a friend of ours’ house, get dressed,” He ordered and pulled me up.
“Still the same bastard I met in the alley,” I mumbled and got up.
“It was your choice to marry said bastard,” Damon called from the bed. I changed into full black and stole one of D’s sweaters. It was still weird to be married to him, wearing the ring was a new feeling. But I still loved it. I stalked back up onto the bed to bite his neck. I got a satisfying moan before he pushed me away.
“Come on love, we have to go,” he said and got up himself. He also dressed in all black with his trademark leather jacket.
We met Stefan and Elena at a huge mansion.
“Serena! You’re going to love Lady Ulma! She makes the most amazing dresses imaginable!” Elena gushed. Lady Ulma was very welcoming.
“Oh my dear friends!” She cried and hugged us both.
“Lady Ulma, this is our friend Serena,” Elena said.
“Welcome dear,” She said gently.
“Oh thank you,” I replied.
“We hate to bother you Ulma, but we need some dresses for a ball,” Elena said.
“Of course! Oh of course! Come with me, boys, make yourselves at home,” She said and whisked us away.
“So Serena, how did you meet this lovely group of people?” Lady Ulma asked me as she measured us.
“Damon actually saved me from being mugged,” I said honestly.
“Really? That’s so sweet!” She said.
“Yeah, then she married him,” Elena laughed from the couch.
“Oh shut up, no one else could put up with his crap anyways,” I quipped back.
I heard that Damon said to me in my mind.
“Damn vampires,” I muttered and Elena just laughed harder.
“I think it’s nice you got him to settle down,” Ulma said.
“It’s an interesting life,” I replied.
“As long as you enjoy it,” She said with a smile. “I’ll have your dresses by Thursday.”
