"Is this real? Where am I? Why is it so... familiar?" Sarah thought as she sits in darkness. She hears music softly playing in the background. As it grows in intensity, she has a sickening revelation that reveals to her her whereabouts.
A voice she thought she would never have to hear again, softly sang, "There's such a sad love..." The music ebbs and flows which makes her feel worse and worse.  "Deep in your eyes..." The soft tone gets louder and louder. "A kind of pale jewel..."
"WHAT DO YOU WANT ALREADY!?" Sarah's insanity kicks in. The music stops. Sarah starts to weep. Out of nowhere, the sound of stage lights turn on. She is wearing a ball gown, and is surrounded by masqueraders. The music starts at a full volume.

People dance around her, trying to conceal the true meaning of this dream, but Sarah knows exactly why she is here.
"Stop this game, Jareth." she states, "Tell me why I'm here."
All the dancers freeze as Jareth's chilling voice echoes throughout the ballroom, "I think you know the answer to that, my dear."
"What? You still want my brother after twelve years? And now that he is finally alone you can get him? Well guess what, Jareth, for twelve years it has been the same— YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER ME!" Sarah's voice resonates throughout her nightmare.
"Oh child," Jareth's sinister voice grasps her, "but I do." Shadows on the floor pull at Sarah's feet as she tries to run.
"Stop!" Sarah shrieks, "Take me, not him."
"Why would I do that when I can have you both..."
Sarah wakes up in the bathroom, covered in tears. She remembers the only thing that saved her when she faced the Goblin King.
In tears, she chokes out, "I need you. I need you more than ever now..."
