You were born a princess, the princess of Asgard to be more specific. When you were born, every person on Asgard came to pay their respects to your family. Your older brother, Thor, was smiling like an idiot. He was also annoying the living daylights out of your other older brother Loki- mainly because Thor wouldn't let Loki hold you.

"Brother, please." Loki pleaded. "You've been holding her all evening, I would love a turn to hold her."

"Must I?” Thor questioned as he lovingly looked down at you. “Have you seen how her eyes sparkle like the finest gems in all of the nine realms?”

“No, because you haven’t let me hold her.” Thor looked like he wanted to say something, instead he reluctantly handed you over to Loki.

"There you are, I wondered where you three went." Your mother said walking over to you and your brothers. “I think it’s time that the three of you went to bed.

“Can’t I hold her a little longer?” Loki begged. “Thor wouldn’t let me hold Y/N, until five or six minutes ago.” Your mother looked into your brother’s pleading eyes, and eventually gives in.

"Five more minutes, Loki." Loki nodded as he sat down on the steps closest to the throne. He then pulled you closer to his chest because he didn't want Thor to snag you. You fell asleep against your brother's chest, listening to his heartbeat.

That night, a thief broke into the palace grabbed you- right out of the cradle and ran. When Odin found out you were missing, he ordered 30 of his best warriors to search the nine realms to find you. All but one warrior came back empty handed. This warrior brought a man bound in chains back to Asgard.

"What is the meaning of this?" Odin demanded. "Where’s my daughter?”

"I couldn’t find the princess, my king.” The warrior explained. “However, I did catch the person responsible for her disappearance.”  Upon hearing this Odin got out of his throne and walked over to the prisoner.

“What did you do with her?”

The thief told your father that he was originally going to turn you over to HYDRA, the plan only tanked because of the persistent Asgardian warrior that was hot on his trail. Not wanting to be caught with you in his arms, the thief dumped you in an alley, and ran for his life. He didn’t know where you went from there. Odin ordered the warrior that brought the prisoner in, to go to that alleyway and look for you. The warrior nodded and headed back towards the Bifrost.

Sam and Dean Winchester were on their way back to the motel when they heard something that sounded like a baby crying. Curious, the two teenagers followed the noise. They found you wedged between two dumpsters, wrapped in a (favorite color) blanket made out of silk. Unable to help himself, a 17 year old Sam picks you up and holds you against his chest. Listening to his heartbeat calmed you down the same way that Loki’s heartbeat lulled you to sleep the night before.

“Think dad will let us keep her?” Sam asked his brother.

“I don’t know… you know how he is.” Dean replied.

“Yeah, but there isn’t a fire station or a hospital nearby.”

“We’ll have to see what dad says… I was thinking of hitting a bar, but I’m more interested in what dad has to say about us keeping this little lady.”

“I think her name is Y/N.”

“Why do you say that?”

“It’s on the blanket Dean.” Dean glances at the name embroidered on your blanket before looking back at Sam.

“Bitch.”

“Jerk.”

When John Winchester first laid eyes on you, he was hesitant. Bringing up a child in the hunting life is dangerous. However, as soon as your little hand wrapped around his finger, John Winchester’s cold heart melted. “Boys, I think you two just gained a little sister.” John stated, causing both Sam and Dean to smile.
