Confused And Conflicted. (SPN+Avengers reader insert)

Chapter 5

Sam's eyes widen as his brother walks away. He quickly chases after Dean. "What the hell did you mean that he's Y/N's biological brother?" Sam asks.

"Just that Sam." Dean snaps. "While you were gone, Y/N didn't know if you'd ever come back. Loki eventually showed up and took over the situation. He did the job that you were supposed to be doing." Sam stops in his tracks unsure what to do or say. Dean then mumbles under his breath about Sam only caring about himself.

One day while Sam and Dean as well as Bobby are out looking for the thing that pulled Dean out of hell, Loki offers to take you home to Asgard, to meet your birth parents and to see your birthright. You shake your head in response, hiding your tears. "(Nickname)? Don't you want to go home to Asgard?" Loki inquires kneeling down to see you better.

"I can't... I was cast out of Asgard for a reason wasn't I? Why should I be able to return to Asgard if I wasn't welcomed in the first place?" You respond before heading inside of Bobby's house and up to your room, leaving Loki dumbstruck. He decides that he wouldn't push you to come home until you were ready.

It turns out that the entity that pulled Dean out of hell was an actual angel, that goes by the name Castiel.

Several years go by, you develop the ability to summon lightning- you accidentally electrocuted Sam and Dean when it first developed. Loki has also been teaching you how to use Asgardian magic and teaching you how to fight like Asgard's greatest warriors, the valkyries.

"I might not be back for awhile my sister." Loki says one day. "Our brother has been cast out from Asgard for the time being, and our father has fallen into Odin Sleep from injuries. Leaving me in charge until Thor is able to come home."

"I understand. I don't have to like it though." You respond, messing with the pendant you received when you turned seven. You've been wearing it ever since receiving it. "Perhaps, Thor and I could help each other so both of us can return home. The only problem is, I can't remember what Thor looks like."

"I think I can help with that. When you were first born, our brother said that your eyes sparkle like the finest gems in all of the nine realms. I can say you're waiting for him and that's how you'll know that it's him." You agree to that. Loki kisses your forehead before taking his leave. So he can go talk to Thor.

"Y/N, are you sure this is a good idea?" Sam asks looking back at you from the passenger seat. "We don't even know if Loki was telling the truth. He might be your brother, but he is still the god of mischief and trickery."

"That thought has crossed my mind, but I am willing to at least investigate it. Since I've gotten to know him, Loki has never given me false information. In all honesty I'm more concerned about Thor.While he might be my brother as well, he is also an enigma. I only know what Loki has told me and what is in the Norse myths. Everything I've found, Thor hasn't come to Midgard before."

"That's helpful (nickname).." Dean mutters as he pulls into the arranged meeting place. "Let's hope you're right."

"Have a little faith De." You respond, getting out of the car once it's parked and turned off. Once outside you see a group of four people coming towards you, you take a deep breath to stop your fluttering heartbeat, praying that one of the group is actually Thor.

"Your brother has lied to you in the past Thor, why would he tell you the truth this time?" One of the two males ask.

"My brother is many things, but he would be a fool to lie about my sister being here on Midgard. He will deeply regret everything if this turns out to be one of his tricks." The tall, muscular, blonde man retorts. "Besides there is no one in the nine realms that has eyes that sparkle like Y/N's." Thor then sighs as he walks over to Sam, Dean and you, refusing to look at you for the time being.

"I don't understand why you haven't bothered looking at me?" You ask after an uncomfortable five minutes of silence. "Am I not the person that you thought I would be?" The tears start to form in your eyes, and your comment finally gets the god's attention. He then moves your (hair color) hair out of your eyes, just so he can look at them.

"I didn't want to look at you, just because I was worried that our brother lied to me about you actually being here on Midgard." Thor admits as tears form in his own eyes. "But this time he didn't lie. Your eyes sparkle as much as they did the night that you were taken from Asgard. My sister."
