**just graphic violence and emotions- lots of emotions-

The night before they went to make the exchange for Kian had been pretty straight forward. Mila, Elena, Spencer, and Franny had gone into the club with the fakest smiles any of them had ever worn. The makeup caked on all of them covered the puffy eyes and redness from crying. They had easily completed their objective and brought the two siblings in. They didn't have long to plant the trackers on them because the second they were out of the club Cipher had eyes on them. They didn't get a chance to explain to the brother and sister who they were or that they weren't in any real danger before it was time for them to hand off the two of them to get Kian back. It had been morning when the handoff happened on a secluded beach. Only Spencer, Mila, Jack, and Marcos had gone for the actual hand off. Everyone else was back at the small compound they had been using as a safehouse, monitoring all of them remotely.

Mila had all but run straight to Kian as the henchmen tossed him at them. He had been dazed and mostly undressed. She pulled him into her arms and with Jack's help got him into the car. No one had talked while Kian and Spencer were in the room. Mila had locked herself and Kian away in her room and bathroom after they got back to the safe house they were using as a base in Miami. She couldn't help but cry watching Kian breakdown. She stripped him of the bloodied clothes and helped him into the bathroom after he had cried for a while. She washed away all the blood that covered his body letting him rest against the wall as tears for his best friend ran down his face. She had to hold back her own seeing him so broken, both physically and emotionally. After she cleaned him up she stitched and bandaged him and put him into clean clothes and helped him to the bed. There was no way he'd be alright enough to go with them to follow the twins. She was quiet around him the whole time. Once he was stitched up and in clean clothes she pulled his head into her lap and let him cry as she carded her fingers through his hair. It broke her heart seeing him like this. After his breathing evened out and the tears stopped she moved so that she could see his face. He looked so empty, the bandage across his cheek hurt her almost as much as seeing the puffiness around his eyes and the runniness from his nose. She wiped the remaining tears from his eyes and finally began to speak, "I have to go out tonight. We did something that we normally wouldn't have to get you back. I promise I'll come back but I can't let Spencer go out there by herself."

"Dom you should come see this," Tej said as he worked on his computer while they found a way to intercept the twins from Cipher in transit. "This picture was taken outside the embassy 5 minutes ago." There on the screen was none other than Jc Caylen's scowling face walking into the embassy with a briefcase in hand. "What the hell is he doing?" Shaw asked looking at the pictures that came afterwards. "Who the fuck cares! He's alive!" Marcos said walking forward. All the other kids were locked away in their rooms waiting on their next orders. "This is not good," Dom said watching the screen, "Spencer doesn't see any-" He sighed as he turned around only to lay eyes on Spencer's tear stained face. " Conyo Carajo," he sighed realizing she had already seen.

Jc had changed into the clothes that were left for him and walked out of the room and followed the man who was dubbed his handler into a large ops room. He saw the woman he had come to know as Cipher sitting in a chair in front of a computer. She stood and walked to him smiling. "You look great," she bit her lip as if considering something. "You know I know you're only agreeing to do all this because you think you're protecting the people you love. But I gotta ask you, are you sure they love you in return?" Jc looked at her in disgust. Did she really think she could so easily make him question the people who had kept him safe for so long. Question Spencer and Mila? "I'm not sure they do. Obviously I'm not gonna force you to do something when there isn't any reward," as she said this pictures flashed up on the screen in front of him of Elena, Fran, Mila, and Spencer all out at a club partying it up. Then it flashed to a video of Spencer, Mila, and Elena sitting on a patio talking, "I'm so glad we don't have to worry about them anymore. They were such a hassle." "I can't believe they thought we fell in love with them!" The girls in the video all laughed and drank from the bottles of beers they had in their hands. "You said you killed them," Jc turned to Cipher his hands itching to grab the gun that sat in the holster of the man to his right. "I lied, I'm sorry. I just felt like I needed to protect you. I thought it would be better if you thought we had killed your friend instead of, well," another video showed up on the screen of Kian's crumpled body falling as a bullet ripped into him, "We were good on our word and returned your friend. But it turns out he was in better hands with us." The video panned out and there stood Mila with the smoking gun in her hand. She smirked as she turned and walked back to her car slipping her hand in Spencer's back pocket as they walked through the sand.

Jc almost fell to his knees. They had played him and Kian from the beginning. It was all a game to them. He staggered backwards. He had nothing left in the world. He'd never be able to go back to the life he had before after this. He'd seen too much. YouTube wouldn't be the same without Kian. Kian, the pain tore through him all over again. Kian had been alive and he died because of Mila. No he hadn't died because of Mila, Mila had killed him. Shot a bullet through his heart as he tried to walk back into her arms. Just like that the rage switched to pure numbness. "What do I need to do?" He asked standing up straight and looking at Cipher emotionless. Cipher's smirk grew on her face, "You'll be delivering a threat, like I said before." She fixed the tie he had on and brush nonexistent lint off his shoulders. "You take the briefcase and tell him to type in his code or we kill his kids." She laughed lightly taking a step back from him, "I know it's wrong to add insult to injury, but you know those people you trusted, handed over his kids just so that they could end you both and be rid of me." Jc believed her. Because the people in those videos weren't the people he thought he knew. They were liars and he would avenge his friend, even if it meant siding with the woman who had pulled them from their lives in Los Angeles.

Jc followed his orders and was dropped right in the middle Miami by his handler. He walked into the building all too easily and cornered the man in an empty conference room. He opened the case he had walked in with and set it on the table. Inside was a small laptop playing a live feed of the same room he and Kian had been locked in only hours earlier. Inside it, twins sat tied to chairs gagged with guns to their heads from unseen men. "My boss wants one thing and your kids will be here in minutes." He pulled the briefcase from the man's hand and opened it up on the table. "Put your code in and all this will be a thing of the past." The man tried to protest but cries from his daughter echoed from the laptop before him.

Just as the man was about to type the code the door burst in and in walked Spencer. His breath caught in his throat momentarily being distracted by her presence again. But just as quickly he hardened again holding up the gun he had been given as he got out of the car. "What the fuck are you doing here? Making sure the job is done? Killing Kian wasn't enough. You found out I was still alive and you had to make sure I died too. So no one can spread the word about just how fucked up your family really is?" He loaded the gun and walked towards her ignoring the man behind him. "Where's your partner? I want you to watch me kill her the same way you watched her kill Kian." He spat the words in her face. "Then I'm gonna kill you to," he was crying by now. Angry warm tears pouring from his eyes, "Because Kian deserved so much fucking better."
