A few hours later, found Mila and Jc sitting in cars across from each other, Spencer in Jc's passenger's seat to be sure he didn't hurt Dom's baby, and Mila alone in hers. The whole family had come out to watch the race. All across the side of the abandoned stretch of road they had found. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, I want a clean race. First one to the end of the track races the Demon this weekend of Race Wars," Elena said from where she stood between the two cars. Kian, Bobby, and Franny had been given the best seats at the end of the quarter mile of road. Dom was on the other side with Letty, Mia, and Brian. "You think the kid can do it?" Dom asked Brian as he sipped on the beer he had in his hand. Brian shook his head, "I taught Mila to drive in that car. There's no way this kid wins," Brian responded. "You shouldn't underestimate him. Toretto women are known to bring home boys who don't look like much," Mia joked kissing her husband. Across the street Jack stood with Franny, Bobby and Kian. "How old are you?" He asked Franny holding an extra beer in one hand. "21," She smiled holding out her hand for the beer. "She's twenty," Bobby laughed shaking his head. Franny flicked his ear and rolled her eyes. "Dad's drinking age is 18. Although Mila started at like 16. I have never seen a girl do so many jello-shots in my life," Jack joked handing Franny the beer. Marcos had come over holding beers that he handed to Bobby and Kian. "So how old are Mila and Spencer?" Bobby asked sipping the beer. "Spencer is 23 and Mila is 21," Marcos said sipping his own beer, "Why?" Bobby shrugged, "They act a little older I was just wondering." His eyes lingered on Elena in her little shorts and crop top, "What about Elena? And you guys?" Marcos shook his head and patted Bobby on the shoulder, "Elena is 20, I'm 19, and Jack is 24." Bobby looked at Marcos shocked, "You're only 19?" Marcos nodded and laughed, "I'm the youngest. But don't be fooled I'm the best driver." Samantha walked over and thumped the boy on the back of the head, "Just because your dad is a badass doesn't mean you are small fry." Back in the cars Jc had started hyperventilating a little, "Jesus I can't believe I agreed to this. Mila has been driving since she was like born! I can't do this!" His left hand gripped the steering wheel and his right gripped the gear shift. "Fuck it's been so long since I drove stick," he checked everything quickly. "Okay you know what, fuck it. I've got this. She said that car is a handicap right?" Jc took a deep breath and focused on the finish line. Mila grinned from her car and blew a kiss at Spencer and Jc before laughing and revving her engine, "You are not driving my car today Castillo.""Ready, Set, GO!" Elena yelled bending over and dropping the two flags she held in her hands. Both Mila and Jc sped forward down the street their cars picking up speed in just seconds. Mila fell back almost immediately because Jc did have the better car. She growled a little and hit her NOS speeding up and passing him momentarily. Finally with the finish line in sight, Jc switched gears and pulled in front of Mila just enough to win. "Holy fuck I did it!" Jc yelled as he slowed down the car. As soon as it was stopped and the family all rushed forward Jc got out of the car and ran around to Spencer's side picking her up and spinning around with her in his arms. "I actually beat her! Holy shit!" Mila got out of the car and slammed the door, "Lucky race Castillo." She took the keys to the Demon from her pocket and tossed them to him, "But you did earn it." She grinned as he caught the keys and smiled. One arm was still around Spencer's waist as Dom came up and clapped him on the back, "Welcome to the family Jc. Ride or die." Jc nodded, "Ride or die." His eyes looked over at Spencer and he couldn't believe this was his life now. Yesterday, his only plans for the weekend were going grocery shopping at Target and editing videos. That life seemed so far away now like it was just a dream of the past and standing there amongst the cheers of this family he hadn't know yesterday, felt like home. Like it was exactly where he belonged. Looking over he saw that Mila had used him winning as a distraction enough to slip her hand into Kian's and he grinned knowing that Kian was probably well on his way to feeling they same way he did. Mila smiled watching as her family congratulated the boy on his win. Truth be told she probably could have won if she had waited to use her NOS but it was in the past now. She leaned her head on Kian's shoulder but looked up a bit when Elena walked over. "We're all sneaking out tonight. Marcos and Jack already stole the booze. Eric, Sammy, Franny and Bobby are on board we just have to tell Spencer and Jc," she whispered in Mila's ear. The older girl nodded and winked, "I got you Sis." Mila let go of Kian's hand and made her way over to Spencer where she was able to whisper what Elena had just told her without anyone hearing.
