Third person pov
Patrick woke up to the sound of Pete's phone ringtone blaring, it was the loudest thing Patrick has ever heard. He sighed. God what is he deaf? he thought to himself. He got out of bed, making his way to the bathroom to get washed up.
When he was done he walked out of the room and into the kitchen to get breakfast started. He pulled out the two pans, he put bacon in one and started fixing the mix for the pancakes. He was in the middle of stirring it, when He heard his phone buzzing.
He walked into the front room, seeing he has 3 missed calls from Jessica and 2 text messages. What the fuck? This is why I broke up with her in the first place. She called me so many times, and the texting...she always had to know where I was, and who I was with he thought to himself, And it's 9:00 am who calls someone that early?
The phone starting buzzing once again, and he picked it up. "Hello? Patrick?" Jessica's voice echoed from the phone. "Yeah, sorry I missed your calls. I was asleep." He should just block her, get it over with and all that those thoughts were ignored.
"Oh, okay, it's fine. I was thinking coffee in like, 30 minutes?" He really didn't want to go. But he had to, right? Everyone had to think they were straight, they just needed a little bit of time, to figure out how to tell everyone they were...together.
"I, uh...sure! See you at The Coffee Bean."He hung up quickly after, and finished breakfast. He made a plate for Pete, then scribbled a note saying that he was heading out to see Jessica, and that he was sorry. He set the note on the plate, grabbed his fedora off the hat stand. He set it on his head, and adjusted it in the mirror on the wall next to the door.
He tried to pull his collar up higher, the hickeys from last night still being very evident, then he left.
As Patrick was driving to the coffee house, Pete was waking up. He walked out of his bedroom, and groggily read the note. Did he trust Patrick? Of course he did. Patrick wouldn't cheat on him. He knew that. But he still got in his car, and went to the coffee bean anyway.
When Patrick arrived, Pete was pulling into the parking space on the complete opposite side of the parking lot. Pete started walking towards the entrance. He was stopped by a tall figure.
"Stephen??" Pete examined, and they both smiled. "In the flesh!" Stephen had been Petes lifeline during the hiatus, (he was basically a substitute for Patrick, but Pete would never admit that.) "Damn, we haven't talked in weeks. Are you heading in? We can catch up over some coffee or something," Pete asked, and StephenDisclaimer: yes it's Stephen Salvatore from vampire diaries, except in this, he's just a normal guy, he's not a vampire. Also, dean Winchester will be in this to. But, this isn't turning into some supernatural episode. Dean and Sam still hunt monsters, but Patrick doesn't know that. So basically dean is still dean, and the supernatural universe is still intact, but Dean has never told Patrick about the whole hunting monsters thing.
Pete and Stephen walked inside of the coffee shop and got coffee together. They talked about random stuff, and Pete kept a firm eye on Patrick and Jessica's table.
"So what you been up to?" Stephen asked, trying to figure out what Pete was looking at. Pete eyes went from Stephen, to Patrick and Jessica.
Patrick was laughing at her stupid jokes Pete wasn't liking it at all. He was probably overreacting, but he didn't want to lose Patrick.
