"Yo, (Y/N)!"

I turned to see Karasuno's libero, Nishinoya, waving his bottle of water at me as a another way of greeting me.

I waved back with a chuckle and before I could approach me, he decided to approach me instead by running towards me.

My eyes were wide as plates so to prevent myself from bumping into him, I stepped back.

But...

"Ahh!"

When my body made contact with the other, it made me fell on the ground.

"Oww", I groaned.

"Oh no! I'm sorry!! Excitement got the best of me, hehe", said Nishinoya, chuckling wholeheartedly.

When our eyes are in contact with each other, I gave him a smile just to accept his apology.

Although, something stopped me from saying anything else and unexpectedly, my cheeks started glowing.

'E-Eh? Why is my face hot all of a sudden? We always bumped into each after practice so this isn't anything new to me but...why now? Why am I feeling this way? Wait...could it be...'

Just thinking about it made my face glow redder than before and before I get a chance to pull myself together (ex. slapping myself), Nishinoya saw how lost I was since I'm staring into space.

"Um, (Y/N)-chan?", said Nishinoya and when he realized my face was red, he started getting a bit worried and at the same time, panicky, "Y-Your face is red! Are you okay? Did I bump into that badly? I better get the senpais before-"

"No, it's fine!!", I finally spoke up and reassured him with my voice, "I-I'm not sick or anything! And besides, I was always bump into you so there's no way I have a cut somewhere!".

When he heard my answer, he sighed with relief and helped me get up from the ground.

"Phew, thank goodness. You scared me for a second there", said Nishinoya, "I don't know what I would do if I really did hurt your pretty face. In fact, I'll probably regret it for the rest of my life".

His words are very reassuring but somehow, it's still making me blush.
