TIME SKIP TO LATER THAT DAY
"Hello! Welcome to Greasy's Diner! My name's Abby! What can I get you today?" The cheerful waitress asked me. I don't know why she's so happy. My best friend could be dead for all I know. It was a good thing that Bill only knocked me out for a couple minutes and not killed me, too. But my main worry right now is (Y/N).
"Um....I don't want anything." I tell the waitress, who said that her name was Abby. She looked about the same age as me. She fixed the huge, brown glasses that took up most of her face and tucked a lock of her short, brown hair behind her ear.
Abby thought for a moment. "You look sad. What's wrong?"
I hesitated for a minute, not knowing if I should tell her. "Nothing........" I finally said.
"You know what makes me happy when I'm sad?" She said, running off to the kitchen. She came back almost immediately with plate of Pancakes. Before I could open my mouth to ask how she got them so fast, she put them on the table and yelled "Pancakes!!!"
"So Dipper......." She began to say, sitting in a chair she pulled over.
"Wait, how do you know my name? I've never seen you in Gravity Falls before in my life!" I asked her.
"I know a lot of things. I'm not a stalker! I promise! I'm just......." She paused for a minute, trying to find the word to say. "Aware"
I dared not to question this girl's power. It may be stronger than I know. "Anyway, like I was saying. Do you think (Y/N)'s going to be alright? Bill was pretty rough on her body when he possessed her." She said to me.
"How do you know about that?" I asked her.
Abby pushed up her thick, brown glasses. "Well, we wouldn't want to get into detail about that, would we?"
"Why not? I have time."
"No, you don't. You need to go check on (Y/N) right now. I know some things that you don't, and one of them is that she needs you to be by her side." She told me as she put the chair back where it came from. She stood up and pointed to the exit. "Go forth, my child! And save the world!" And with that, I took off.
