Your POV:
"Hey Mom! Sorry I was out a little later than you would've hoped" I say as I close the front door of my house.
"Hey honey! Just glad you're home!" She replied with a smile as she washed the dishes. It took everything I had not to tell her about the book that I had found in the woods. I slam the door to my bedroom and open the book. It reads all about this town. About secrets that it holds, about monsters that lie in the shadows of our town. It was hard to take all this in. I decided to sleep even though it was only 3:00. I'm tired and it's been a long, eventful day.
THE NEXT DAY
I wake up and It's pretty early. As in like, only 2:00 in the morning. I decide to go out into the woods to look at that book again. I get dressed and head back out. I sit down again and read the book I found in the woods. It said in bold letter on one page: Soon, I hear Dipper behind me. "Your awake? It's pretty early." I slam the book shut and hid it behind my back as I stand up and turn around.
"Oh! Uh.. Hi! I'm totally not doing anything..." I say quickly.
"Are you OK?......." Dipper says struggling to know my name.
"(Y/N)" I say to him. "I forgot I never told you.."
"Oh. So are you OK? You seem a bit suspicious."
"Uh..... yeah. I'm fine" I could tell he could see right through me.
"OK, what are you hiding?" He said after analyzing me for a while.
"I-" I began to say. "I-I really don't know if I can trust you."
"Well, I don't know if I can trust you either, and yet here I am." He said, fixing his hat.
"Well, I mean, I don't know if you'll believe me...." I said doubtfully.
"Trust me, (Y/N), I've seen a lot of weird things in my life."
"OK then." I pulled the journal I found out and handed it to him.
Wow that was short XD
I'm kind of bored so I may post a lot today. I don't know.
