Chapter – 4

Aryan found Eshaan talking to his father. Seeing him, Aryan signalled to come in the library. Eshaan was Aryan’s friend from London. Tina and Eshaan fell in love when he met her for the first time during one of his visits in Kolkata. Eshaan had proposed marriage when Aryan was in Singapore, and since then the wedding arrangements had begun in the Skyhawk Mansion.

Eshaan quickly finished his conversation with his would be father-in-law and went to the library. He saw Aryan looking at the garden, where the guests were arriving for the party, from the library window. “Where did your sister went?” Eshaan asked as he took the place beside Aryan. “I don’t have a clue.”

“Aryan, is she having any second thoughts about me?”

“Nope she is very excited about this marriage. I am sure this has to do with that little bird.”

“Aryan please, Pakhi is not that bad.”

“Really? How do you know that?”

“I and Tina had a big fight last year. It was Pakhi who helped us come over it. In fact, Pakhi gave me the idea of proposing marriage to your sister. I still remember Tina’s face when she saw the ring.”

“Pakhi helped you two? Any ways she reserves the cold shoulder only for me”

“Aryan, why do you hate her so much?”

“Because she hates me.”

“And why does she hate you?”

“I don’t know”

Eshaan laughed and said, “have you ever tried to know?”

“No.”

Eshaan stared at Aryan and smiled, “she is twenty six, not the kid you used to know. Try to see her just like you see the other girls.”

“Not possible, she is not my type.”

“Aryan you don’t even know your type. For you it is only lust. Try to see her beyond the self-created picture. Tina tells me that there is more to that girl than she shows.”

“She dreams of getting married to a prince charming. And everyone knows I am anything but not a fairytale prince. And definitely not a marriage material.”

“Actually she has already got her prince charming. But she needs to know that love is not what she reads in the books. Love comes out of passion.”

“You want me to show her that?”

“No way. Never. I bet you can’t ignite that kind of passion in her. Moreover she needs a true prince not a warrior.” Eshaan grinned.

“You bet?” Aryan’s eyes widened.

“I bet Aryan. But this bet is of no use. After all you two don’t even have a spark.”

Aryan shoved his hands in his trousers and said, “When Aryan Dutta decides to make someone fall for him, he doesn’t require a spark. He only needs a proper situation where – “

“There you are. I was searching for you two in the whole mansion.” Tina’s sudden entry interrupted their conversation. “Tina?” both of them were shocked to see her.

“Why? Were you expecting someone else?” Tina raised her eyebrows.

“I thought you went to help Pakhi.” Aryan asked.

“So I did. I had gone to her office to get her here.”

“Exactly how fast do you drive?” Eshaan stared at her.
