"Ugh," I groan, banging my alarm aggressively. I slowly sit up out of bed and let out a long sigh.

My mum lets me have breakfast in bed since it's my first day back at this awful school, the only good things about the school are probably the breaks and my awesome best friends. After a long, relaxing shower I pick out a pastel hoodie with some plain black jeans, I tie my hair up and start to pack my bag.

Suddenly my mum yells, "Sweetie, there is someone at the door!"

"OK, mum, I'm coming".

I finish packing my bag and rush to the door, to see my good friend Sean.

"Hey Sean," I say looking at him with a lazy face.

"Wow, you look tired,"he says, smiling at me. Sean is my best buddy, he's like the most reliable person I know!

Eventually we arrive at prison... oh, sorry I mean school, we enter the school and there we see the jocks, the jocks are jerks the only nice one is Simeon but we don't see him a lot since he's always on the field.

"Hey you fucking nerd watch we're your going!"

The jocks don't scare me, I simply just put my middle finger up and walk away. A few minutes went by and there i saw my group of friends 'the Smartasses'. Well, that's what everyone calls us so I guess that's are name.

" Hey guys," I say walking closer.

"Oh hey," Felix replies. The rest of the 'smartasses', Felix, Joseph and Ethan, smile back at us.

"So what have you guys been doing?"

I say "Oh you know ju-"

I was cut off when he saw people had noticed something.

"Oh my God," they all say at the same time. I turn around and see everyone's eyes on a new girl! She seemed kinda lost, so I walked up to her and introduced myself.

"Hey I'm Lily, are you lost? "

I take her over to the boys.

"So boys, this is?"

"Mia," replies the girl.

*later that day*

Mia and I were just leaving the science room but as I went to grab the door handle Olivia had beat me to it.

"Oh hey there new kid," she says, looking at Mia. "Why don't you join the cheerleading squad sometime?"

"Sure!" Mia replies.

Oliva lets go of the handle, so I walked out but Mia stayed there like she was frozen.

"You coming?" I asked quietly.

"S-sorry..."

I look at her for a second with disappointment then walked out like I don't give a shit, but as soon as I turned at the corner I hear Mia say, "Listen, I don't know that creep, she was just following me around."

I sat on the steps and a tear rolled down my face, I didn't really know her yet but I didn't know she was such a bitch.

"Lying bitch," I muttered, walking away from the new school bitch.

About half an hour passed and I sat alone but the boys spotted me.

"What's up?" Joseph shouts.

"Nothing really," I snap back at him.

"Jeez, who pissed you off?" Ethan remarks.

"The new girl," I say, rolling my eyes.

"Wait, is she one of those girls?" Sean asks.

"Yep, the skunks got her" I laughed bitterly. "I don't give a shit anyway I don't want another girl in the group, not after what happened with Millie-Jo."

*an hour later*

  I arrived home and put my headset on so we could play some video games.

"How about GTA?" I suggested. They all agreed and we play till around 2am.

"Well guys I gotta get some sleep now," I said with a yawn.

"Well fuck school," Sean says. I put the PS4 equipment away, brush my teeth and slowly fall asleep.
