The next morning the alarm clock goes off it reads 6:30 I think to myself 'man, that's kind of early.' Just then I get out of bed head to the kitchen and start to make five different kinds of breakfast meals. Which include but not limited to: oatmeal, eggs and grits, eggs and bacon and sausage, and also a wheat cereal and a sweet cereal. I start to wonder why this kitchen is different. I go to make some coffee hoping to possibly wake up, but, there's a problem there's no coffee maker anywhere!! I also wonder why so many meals, and the big question how do I know where everything is? This is getting weirder and weirder. A few minutes later I head upstairs to the master bathroom to freshen up, and try to find a way to fully wake up. What I mean is that I go to the bathroom to wash my face, wash my hands, brush my teeth, and comb my hair. I look at the clock which sits on the porcelain countertop by the outer wooden medicine cabinet. It reads 6:45. I walk out of the bathroom and walk into another room. I notice a kid's room 'my daughter' I think to myself wondering who it was and better yet who am I? I haven't looked in the mirror nor have I spoke. To tell you the truth I'm kind of scared to find out but, I'm also curious to find out. If that makes any sense. The girl lying in the bed looks as if she were about ten years of age. I walk very quietly over to her bedside. When I notice that she has started to stir. "Mom?" I shake my head in agreement as to calm her down. She starts to act like she's getting up as I start to head to the door. I head out of her room just to go into the bathroom yet again, this time to look to finally figure out who I am today. "Oh, my.... Gosh, I am June Deveraux..." Standing in shock. I know she's a famous actress she has a husband and three kids. I know growing up I always looked up to her and I also wondered what it would be like to be her for a day. Ironically todays that day. I actually get to see and be a part of her life for a full day and I will finally get to see how she lives her life when the cameras are not rolling. It will be a very interesting to see how this day will turn out. I head back to the kitchen, I notice a daily planner on a wooden desk adjacent to the kitchen and a hop skip and a jump away from the bathroom. I look at today's date, it reads "pampering day" all over it. Apparently there's no filming, no meetings of any kind. I look back at the previous few days to find her schedule jam packed with things like PTA. meetings, girl scouts, boy scouts, doctors' appointments, soccer, softball, volleyball, and ballet just to name a few. Man, this is her life how does she balance all of this stuff? Just then I look at the clock it reads 7:15, I head upstairs to wake everyone up one by one. 'Ashley's room' is the sign on the door of the first room I come to. If I remember right Ashley is the oldest of the three. She should be about fifteen years old; I walk into her room flip the light switch. She moans and rolls over as if she were mad. "Ashley time to get up, time for school." Ashley mutters something under her breath it's unclear of what exactly was said. She really doesn't seem too happy. It seems that June and Ashley don't get along very well. I wonder if I could fix that. Hmmmmm I wonder. Anything is possible that's for sure. Ashley slowly gets up as I stand at her door way. I walk a little further the next sign on the next door reads 'Jack's room' I slowly open his door to find him standing in front of his mirror fully dressed, and ready to start the day. He is the middle child and only boy. If my calculations are correct he is thirteen. He looks away from the mirror, and looks at me. "Good morning mom." He says with a loving smile on his face. "Good morning sweetie." I then slowly walk to find another door with yet another sign 'Jenny's room.' She's the youngest at the age of ten, she acts like she fourteen. I am not sure if that's a good thing or not. I chuckle a little inside. I walk over to her bed; she is slowly rolling over waking up little by little in the process. "Hi" she says still not fully awake. "Good morning honey, it's time to get up and get ready for school." I say as I look lovingly at her. Julie moment approaching. June has such an amazing family. Junes husband John has an overnight job, he will be getting off of work soon, he then usually comes home gets a little sleep, wakes up gets a bite to eat, relaxes, and then when it's time he goes and picks up the kids from school. Then we have a family dinner and he goes off to work again. Anyhow, back to my day which I will call 'me day' which will consist of a full two hour massage, a manicure, a pedicure, a new outfit, eating out where ever whenever. Man, todays going to be amazing. I really can't wait. I then snap back to reality. All three of the kids are standing youngest to oldest on the stairs. All of them dressed nicely, even more so knowing there is a dress code at Deveraux Middle School, and at Johnson Elementary. We all get into the car. I start the car, Colbie Caillats 'Brighter than the sun' plays on the radio. This song sets a great mood for the day. I look in the rearview mirror Ashley rolls her eyes; Jack seems very jittery for some reason, then last but not least Jenny sitting there with an ear to ear grin. I put the car in reverse and head toward Johnson Elementary I drop off Jenny then I go a block and a half and drop off Jack and Ashley. When they enter the building, I drive away. Now, what do I do first?
