Well, love is something we say out loud,
But we don't know what it means.
Love isn't just a word.
It isn't a Disney movie either.
When you first fall in love, you think everything will be perfect and you'll have a happily ever after.
It starts like that a first but then,
Everything
Changes
You finally see the truth.
Pain and fear creeps up to you like a shadow.
No more:
" I love you"
"You mean the world to me"
" I will never hurt you"
" I will always be with you and never let you go"
You just feel hatred and anger cover your body with bruises.
Tears fall down your face as you shake
" You're a complete idiot"
"No one would want a stupid bitch like you"
" I fucking hate you"
That's all you hear on a daily basis
You finally see the truth
The truth about love
How it isn't a Disney movie
Where you expect you to find your Prince Charming and have a happily ever after
But ,no.
All you see is a Demon.
The Demon who you thought you can trust and feel loved by
Instead,
The Demon
Just
Wants
You
To
Break
And
Not
Know
What
Love
Is
Anymore.
