-29- Promise

When we came back home,I laid down and sighed. "Daviddd. Hurry up and get over here I'm coldddd." I said groaning as I watched him change his clothes. "I'm coming." He said as he walked over. "Ew." I said and laughed. "You have a dirty mind." He said getting under the sheets next to me. He wrapped his arms around me. "Baby..Do you promise to stay with me? Even through every fight..Even though we haven't had one yet?" He asked softly. "Of course babe. I couldn't think to be with anyone else." I said smiling. But my mind was racing. I was thinking of every scenario in my head that could play out. I was getting upset over that thought so I snapped myself out of it by rolling over to look over at him. We were about to kiss until my phone started ringing. I looked at the number but I didn't recognize it. "David do you recognize this number?" I asked showing my phone. "It's Sam's number." He said looking at it. I answered. 

      "Hello?" I asked calmly. "You doing okay?" Sam asked in a soft spoken voice. "Yea. I think so anyway. Why did you call?" I asked trying not to sound rude. "Because I just wanted to make sure." He said. "Okay. Thank you Sam." I said and smiled. "Bye (y/n)!" He said and hung up. I did the Sam. "Why did he call?" David asked a little jealously. "He was just checking if I was okay." I said. He stared at me. "Listen David,I would never leave you." I said looking into his eyes. "You promise?" He asked putting his hand on my cheek. "I promise." I said as I smiled and he kissed me. "I love you, (y/n)." He said. "I love you too David."

   Zane busted into the room,Ruining the moment of course. "(Y/n) You wanna do Coffee Talk with me and Heath today!?" He asked excitedly. He was out of breath. "Of course Zane. But give me a minute." I said smiling at him. "Okay!" He said shutting the door. "We just started cuddling why do you wanna leave now?" He said chucking. "Sorry babe,But content is more important." i winked and laughed. I carefully stood up and made sure I didn't rip my bandages. I carefully put on shorts and a t-shirt with David's help. I kissed his cheek. "See you in a few Baby." He said as i left the room. "Alright Zane! I'm ready!" I said smiling. "HEATH BABY LET'S GO!" I yelled laughing as Heath ran into the room but slipped and slid across the floor. "Bitch let's go!" He said getting back up and opening the door. We ran to Zane's jeep since Heath's truck was gone. (RIP Big Red) Heath got in the Drivers side and I got into the middle and then Zane was on the passenger side. He pulled up his camera and started filming.

   "ITS COFFEE TALK BITCH!" Zane yelled and I smiled. Heath started yelling at the cars in front of us."We're here with (y/n) David's Girlfriend!" Heath said before starting to yell again. "If you guys didn't know Me and Heath actually HATED each other in high school."  Zane chimed in over Heath's yelling. "Heath and I." I said and laughed as Zane rolled his eyes. "Yea. He called me horse." Heath said giving Zane a dirty look. "Look baby I'm sorryyyy. It's in the past." Zane said in character. The conversation kept on until we got to K's. 

     We hopped out of the truck and I excitedly ran inside with Zane and Heath trailing behind me. All of us ordered a coffee and a donut.  We got back in the truck and Zane and Heath popped the straw in. "Come on baby it's the ritual!" Zane said and I laughed and put the straw in. We all took a sip at the same time. "Mmm..That's actually really fucking good." I said and laughed. "WE GOTTA HURRY HOME!" Heath yelled. "WHY?!" I asked looking at Heath. "BABY DID YOU FORGET?!" Zane yelled looking at me. "FORGET WHAT?!" I asked. "WE HAVE TO FILM THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR SCOTT!" Heath yelled. "Wait wait wait I wasn't told this!" I laughed. Soon enough we made it home.
