a/n: hey people, just a lil' warning that there's drama ahead :'') also, i changed something in chap 14.

haeri's pov

a light coming from the front door interrupted me from my sleep,

as i was blushing trying to unwrap tae's arms around my waist, my eyes landed on foreign yet familiar figure standing by the door.

"jeongguk? what are you doing here?" i questioned as i instantly got up from the couch and dragged him out my door.

"haeri i–"

"why are you here? as far as i know you haven't left anything here so–"

"haeri, listen to me please." jeongguk cut me off as his voice cracked.

"why were you sleeping with tae?" he asked as i saw his eyes slowly breaking.

"why do you care?" i fired back.

"i still love you–"

"you expect me to believe that?!" i asked raising my voice a little.

by this time, a few tears slipped from his eyes "haeri, please."

"i remember the first time i saw you kissing her," i started as i inhaled, trying not to burst.

"you remember that, right? the first time i saw it, i forgave you. the second time i saw it, i still forgave you. i forgave you for kissing her, thats how much i loved you, guk."

"you know how they say 'third time's the charm' ? the third time's where i lost it.

it hurt me to see the man i thought i would marry someday, kissing someone else."

and thats where he fell on his knees "haeri please, im sorry. im so sorry haeri, im sorry." he rambled on as his voice cracked every second.

"i broke up with her. i lashed at her for calling you a slut because no one calls my girl a slut." he spoke while getting up and looking into my eyes.

"thank you for defending me jeongguk,

but i am no longer your girl," i paused as the first tear slipped out my eye.

"and i never will be, ever again."

"i love you haeri."

"i loved you jeongguk, i loved you"

"as much as it hurts me to say this, no matter what you do, were completely over." i said as i turned around to walk back into my house.

"oh and, one more thing," i added as i wiped off a few tears that slipped my eyes.

"if i could turn back time, i wish i would've never met you." i finished as i walked into house.

little did i know, jeongguk whispered something to himself as i left.

"if i could turn back time, i would want to be the best man in the world;

i would want to be the best man in the world for you."
