"so how have you been, hae?" taehyung asked as he was cutting his steak.

i wanted to vent to him about jeongguk, but then i remembered that im here to be with tae and not think about guk.

"uh well, i've been fine." i smiled.

"hae, i've heard about you and guk."

i paused, after a few seconds, i spoke up "tae how did you–"

"guk's a friend i met at work,

i know what he did to you, i'll still continue being his friend, but i'll never let him hurt you in any way. now that i'm back, i'm here to protect you from anyone who hurts you, and im not planning on leaving you anymore.

im here to stay, and i'll always be here for you." he finished with a smile.

"thanks, tae." i gratefully answered.

"so i guess the haetae duo is back?" i asked with a giggle.

he smiled widely "yes. its back, and here to stay."

i can clearly see, that he will always be there for me.
