Carlson sat next to Charlie wrapping the other half of her duvet around him causing him to look at her.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong?" Carlson asked and Charlie just shrugged lighting the cigarette that was balancing between his lips.

"It's just weird being back home when so much is on my mind." Charlie told her taking the cigarette away from his mouth.

"Yeah." Carlson whispered.

Charlie looked away from Carlson causing them to fall into a silence and the tension between the two was building.

They both knew it. Yet they didn't know what to say to each other. Well Charlie did he just couldn't put it into words.

"Maybe it's because you're always on my mind." Charlie spoke breaking the silence after he flicked his cigarette away looking at Carlson again.

"What?" She asked shocked.

Charlie didn't answer her question he just kissed her before pulling away and looking into her eyes.

He didn't say anything after that he just got up and entered the house again through Carlsons open bedroom window.

Carlson sat there her fingers touching her lips thinking about what just happened and why she didn't say anything.
