Carlson opened the front door to her house coming face to face with Charlie who had the same tired expression that he always had on his face.

"I'm sorry." Charlie spoke and Carlson shook her head.

"You don't have to be." Carlson replied.

"It's not like it wouldn't happen again." She finally said.

"What do you mean again?" Charlie questioned raising an eyebrow.

"It means shit happens Charlie." She answered and Charlie ran a hand through his hair sighing.

"You're making it sound like it was a mistake and if it happens again it would be a mistake!" Charlie told her angrily.

"I'm just saying it would most likely happen again Charlie!" Carlson said raising her voice "I just don't know what to say after my best friend kisses me!"

"You either tell me you like me or you don't!" Charlie spat shrugging.
