As Mrs. Ryans read the words on the paper she held in her hands, she started to weep. Not only for the death of her daughter, but for her lost grandchild. She hadn't known of their existence, but she went for them just the same. After all, this child would've been the newest addition to the family.

Tears continued to fall from her eyes as she realized that others should hear about the unjust death of her daughter. Determination filled her heart, and she grabbed the letter in one hand, her coat in the other. She was going to show the whole town what happened. " Thank you Abigail Rivers. " she muttered as she walked through the door, into the cool breeze of the afternoon.
