"I can't stand him!" she yelled. "Why do I have to take care of him?!" Perona Growled. It had been a year since the Green haired Swordsman had arrived and all he did was annoy her. She had to make sure he wasn't getting lost or worse. She had to care for him like a little nurse and all she got was rude comments. Perona would talk to Mihawk regularly and Zoro would too, but her and the latter could never click. They always wound up arguing. Today was no different.
"Idiot!" Perona grumbled as she hovered in the halls of Mihawk's castle. Her Ghost flew around her with sad faces. She couldn't stand that Zoro. They were always fighting. Like just now. He wanted to go train but was still bandaged up. Not even listening to Perona he head out to fight the monkeys or something. "He is a monkey himself! Idiot"."Perona" ,Mihawk's calm voice echoed through the hall. A bit startled she spun around. "Don't scare me like that!" His hawkish eyes scanned quickly. "I assume you had seen me. You flew by me just now". "Ow, I'm s.." "no need for apologies, you were in your own world". She nodded. "I'm in need of your assistance. As you are aware there is an abandoned closet behind the kitchen". She quietly watched the older man. Honestly he still kind of scared her. "My request is that you clean it". "Huh!? Why should I clean it?" "I would do it by myself but I am needed elsewhere". She calmed down. "You've been summoned?" "Yes". He continued to answer the question she was going to ask by saying, "Only some briefing". She nodded. "Alright, but I am still not happy with cleaning that closet". "Why not ask Roronoa?" She pulled a face. "That Idiot only cares about training". "You give up too fast". She looked at him confused as he turned in the doorway. "Tell him that I said it's part of his training". He walked off leaving her in the hallway.. "He is a geni.... ugum... why didnt I think of that" she mumbled.
Zoro slashed at the giant monkey. It few back and landed in the trees. The loud cracks of breaking branches was heard through the forest. He removed Wado from his mouth and sheet her. That was satisfying enough he thought as he turned around. Walking in the direction of the castle.. Oblivious to the fact that it of course wasn't the right way. As he was walking through the trees he heard the familiar voice call to him. "Zoro!! Zoro, where are you!?" He spun around. and answered "Over here!" Moments later The pink haired maiden appeared. "Where are you going?" she asked sarcastically. "Back to the castle" he explained. "Idiot! This is the wrong way! You've been here a year and still don't know the way!?" "Oi. I do know the way!" "No you don't! Why do I even try?" She said dropping her head in defeat. Zoro took in her profile. When she wasn't yelling at him she looked kind of cute. He almost felt bad for yelling at her, but she didn't give him the time. "Come with me" she continued. She hovered around and looked back gesturing with her head. "This way". Silently he followed her.
She had grown a bit in the time here. Then again so had he. She didn't wear that small outfit anymore. Right now she was wearing a normal black dress. With pink flats her hair was down and the pink locks curled at the ends as usual and of course her pink umbrella. His thoughts trailed back to when he first arrived. When she helped him. She actually sat by his bed. "Zoro!" He snapped from his thought. Turning his head around. "Where are you going?" She asked. He had started walking away from her. He didn't answer and she sighed. "You can't even follow me without getting lost". He looked away, hiding his blushing face. He himself did not like the fact that he got lost so easily. Then he felt a soft hand slip into his. He turned his head. "Come" was the single word she spoke as she pulled him along. He had to admit. Even if she was annoying. She always helped me....
"Mihawk requested we clean the closet behind the kitchen". "Ow?" "Yeah. He said you're supposedto assist me". He didn't fuss as they continued through the forest. I guess that did work, she thought. Internally thanking Mihawk.
They finally reached the castle and she let go of his hand. It still surprised him how small she actually was. "Head to the kitchen. I'll be right there" she said before turning around. He nodded as she floated away. He headed in the way he thought the kitchen was and by some means made it there. He sat at the table and after a few minutes Perona flew in. "Aah you didn't get lost!" She said happily. He was about to make an annoyed remark, but when he looked up he noticed the apron she wore when doing house chores and smiled. You know the little smile Zoro has. He always thought it looked a bit off for her to be wearing it. She also put her hair up in a ponytail. "What?", she asked confused. He shook his head, replying with a "Nothing". "Ow okay let's go then. I don't want him coming back and lecturing me".They made their way to the closet. Perona opened the door and was met the dust. She coughed a bit as she fanned it away with her hand. "Of course" she said as she rolled her eyes. She entered the dusty room looking around. "Alright, let's get to work".
