At First Sight ( A Joe Sugg Fanfiction)

Chapter One

(Alison POV)

I was so tired but it was impossible to sleep on this plane. The seat was so uncomfortable to sit in so there was no chance that I would be able to sleep in it.

'Only a few more hours' I told myself. 'A few more hours until you're in London, the place you have wanted to be in since you were a young girl.'

With this thought I reached for my phone and my pink earphones. I plugged the earphones into my phone and began listening to my favourite song, 'Somebody Else' by The 1975. Suddenly I slowly drifted off to sleep with my earphones still in.

I suddenly felt a motion of movement at my shoulder. I quickly opened my eyes and looked up to see a flight attendant.

"Miss, we are about to land, you need to do your seatbelt up" he told me. I fastened my seatbelt and felt the landing of the plane at my destination.

After the plane has have completely stopped, I undo my seatbelt and stand up to get my small bag and suitcase from the overhead compartment. I didn't pack much just my favourite clothes and shoes but I do plan to go shopping as soon as I have settled into my new apartment. After this random thought, I walk out from the plane and into the airport. I look outside to see that it is starting to go dark. I look at the sun setting in the distance, getting lost in the beautiful view. I then remember that my new flatmate was here to pick me up. I turn to look around the airport when I recognise my name on a sign. I look up to see a boy holding the sign. He has brown hair and is a bit taller than me. I walk up to the boy and wave.

"Hi I'm Alison Price the name of the girl on your sign, you must be Joe" I say with a smile.

He replied saying, "Oh I'm Oli, I'm not your roommate but a close friend of Joe. he couldn't pick you up because had a family event but he will probably be home not long after us, so should we get going?"

"Sure" I say with a shrug.

We walked out from the airport to Oli's car and he opened the back door of his car and I put my suitcase on the backseat. I then hopped into the passenger's seat, ready to see my new apartment.

He turned on the radio and to my surprise a song by The 1975 came on.

"By the way this is my favourite band" Oli said

"Are you serious, I never stop listening to them" I replied with slight bit of surprise in my voice

"What's your favourite song by them?"He asked

" Somebody Else"

"Oh my god me too, I'll put it on"

In saying that he stopped at the red light and plugged his aux cable into his phone and selected the song. We sang the song and then we laughed as we pulled into the driveway of the apartment block.

"Looks like he's He's already home" Oli said pointing to car that was obviously Joes.

He called Joe on his phone and they had a quick conversation.

"He wants you to go up by yourself" Oli explained

"Oh ok" I said

"I'll help you get your bags from the back"

"Thank you" i said thankfully.

We both got out of the car and Oli gets my suitcase from the back seat and hugged me lightly

"The apartment number is 13 on level 2" "It was so nice to meet you."

"Thanks for the ride! hope to see you soon Oli"
