The pair had to return back home the next day. Taehyung had said goodbye by kissing his forehead and Jimin took a cab home, trying his best not to smile. Him, Seokjin and Namjoon ordered take-out that evening and his hyungs listened to every bit of Jimin's story.

Jimin didn't tell them what he did with Taehyung, wanting to keep it to himself a little while longer.

-

Jimin was expected at work the next day. He sang while dressing up in the blue shirt Taehyung had bought him and yelled goodbye to his roommate. He arrived at the office perfectly in time. He hung up his coat while humming happily and turned on his computer, waiting for the others to arrive.

Taehyung walked in first, throwing his jacket  on Jimin's desk and not even giving him a look.

"I want the article finished this afternoon," he said. He tried to keep his voice in one tone, succeeding. But barely. He didn't want to be mean to Jimin, but he also couldn't fall in love with Jimin.

Jimin's smile fell immediately. "Uh, y-yes, sir," he stammered and hung up Taehyung's coat. He started writing but couldn't wrap his head around why Taehyung was so cold to him all of a sudden.

Jungkook stepped into the office a moment later, looking at Jimin and then at Taehyung. "What happened between you and him on the fashion show? The tension here is crazy," he said as he frowned.

Jimin sighed, rubbing his temples. "He was acting so nice in Seoul, holding my hand and buying me things. He even kissed me and we-" He halted. "We... did... stuff. But now he's acting like he doesn't even know me." He looked up at Jungkook, eyes wet and lip trembling. "I don't know what happened."

"Messy," Jungkook said as he sat down behind his own desk before typing some things.

"Yeah, you could say that." Jimin sighed and started typing, trying to recall everything from the runway that evening.

"You met G-Dragon though," Jungkook said with a smile. "He's really cool isn't he?"

"He's awesome," Jimin answered with a grin on his face. "He even allowed me to hug him."

"I noticed," Jungkook said as he smiled and continued to send out emails to some companies for orders of fashion lines. Jimin turned back to his own computer as well.

-

Taehyung's strange and cold behaviour didn't melt away, Jimin just felt like it was only getting worse. He entered the office two days later, anxious for his boss. Jimin had finished the article half an hour after the deadline and he was scared to hear what Taehyung had to say about it.

Taehyung in fact, didn't say a word about it, nor did he say a word to Jimin. Taehyung just casually walked around in the office, giving Jungkook his lunch break, and ended up forgetting Jimin's lunch break.

"Uh, what?" Jimin looked at Jungkook and then at the office door, completely confused. "But what about me?"

"Maybe you'll get a break after me?" Jungkook said as he stood up and took his jacket, putting it on. "I don't know, Jimin," Jungkook said with a shrug.

"I hope so," Jimin sighed, watching Jungkook leave. He ran a hand through his hair and fixed his glasses, turning his attention back to the computer screen and trying to ignore the rumbling in his stomach.

Taehyung returned after his lunch break, ignoring Jimin again and so did Jungkook, but Taehyung didn't say a word to Jimin. Everything that Taehyung had to ask to Jimin went through Jungkook.

-

Jimin went home exhausted that afternoon. He was tired, he was hungry and he was hurt. He didn't know what he did to make Taehyung hate him all of a sudden, but he didn't like it.
