chapter 5

(Jeff's p.o.v ~in hospital~)

I never felt so insane in my life. I should've told the nurse to call Emo everyday so I could talk to her. I have to stay ain't this hell for 5 weeks. Hospitals make me go crazy. All I wanted was to tell randy about Jane and Jinx. What do I get for that? I get burned. But when I get out of here, that bitch Jane is gonna burn just like me. And I'm gonna love watching her burn to death. Then, maybe Randy will too.

5 years later

(Lacey's p.o.v)

I'm now 24 years old. I'm out of high school and live with Alex and Serena. I haven't seen Jeff in 5 years. Liu and his parents went missing the day after I last saw Jeff. They turned up two or three days later dead. Jane went missing after her parents were killed mysteriously and she was sent to the hospital after being lit on fire. I did find a boyfriend. His name is Kyle. We have two children. Their names are Stella and Laden.

Alex and Serena plan on moving out. But I don't want them to. They want to find a place in a different town. But I tell them to wait after Laden goes into school and Stella goes into preschool.

I work at a dance studio with Alex. Serena watches the kids with Kyle so that me and Alex can work. Today wasn't a normal day though. When me and Alex get off work, its dark. Alex didn't go to work today because she wasn't feeling well. So I have to lock up. While I was locking the doors, I heard a mysterious laughter. I turn around, and see nothing. "H-hello?" I ask shakily. No answer. I start to walk home. Home is four blocks away. Then, I hear laughter again. "Is somebody there?" No answer. "If anyone's there, please stop following me!" Still no answer. Then I hear someone behind me. When I turn around, I see a girl. But she's no ordinary girl. She was...JANE! "Jane, is...is that you?" I ask. The girl smiles and runs to hug me. "Emo? Emo Insanity? Its been so long!" Jane cheers. I laugh. "Jane, I just go by Alisha now. That's my real name. But I do still go by Lacey" I say. Jane was still beautiful. She still had black, long, curly hair and beautiful black eyes. But her skin was pure white. And she looked like she hadn't slept in days. "Jane, are you okay?" I ask her. Jane's giggles, and nods. "I'm fine! I just saw you and thought I'd warn you," she says. I suddenly get a strange feeling. "Warn me? Warn me about what?" I ask. Jane pulls out a knife.

She puts my hand around it. "Lacey, keep this hidden. I stole it from Jeff," she says. I accidently touch the silver. "Ouch! God damn silver!" I say. But I put the knife in my purse. "Wait...Jeff? What about Jeff?" I ask nervously. Jane looks around, and whispers in my ear. "Don't let Jeff have it. He'll kill you if he does. I don't want you to get killed so hide it." I nod, and Jane runs away. I begin to run home. But, I trip and fall. "Ouch! Fucking rocks!" I whisper in pain. When I get up, I start to walk again. Once I get home, Stella and Laden almost break my arms. "Okay. Time for bed. You guys are too hiper," I say. Kyle pulls them off and takes them to their rooms. I sit down next to Alex. Serena sits next to me and hugs me. "So, meet anybody new?" she asks. I shake my head, and look at my purse. I stole it from Jeff. Jane's words roll through my mind. Keep it hidden, Dont let Jeff have it, he'll kill you if he does. These words played through my mind. "Actually, you'll never believe this. But I saw Jane! She was acting weird," I say. Serena looks at me strangely. "Are you serious? Jane is dead," Serena says. I give her my whatever face, and go to get ready for bed. When I'm in my room, I begging to change. I take off my clothes and put on some underwear. Before I put on my bra, I hear a noise coming from the door. "Kyle?" I ask, secretly scared.

I feel like I'm being watched. I pull on my bra, and quickly turn around. Kyle is standing there, looking somewhat turned on. "Hey! Pervert!" I laugh pulling on a shirt.

Kyle smiles, and pulls me close. He than kisses me. I kiss back. "Wanna have some fun?" he asks. I push him away, and shake my head. "Look, Kyle. I have to tell you something," I say pulling on pants. Kyle sits down, and waits for me to tell him. "Well, see. My ex is in town Again. I have a feeling he wants me to see him," I say. Suddenly, I get a text from an unknown number.

(conversation)

unknown: Hello, Lacey.

Me: Hi. Who's this?

unknown: hahaha....its Jeff.

me; Jeff! Oh my god! R u ok?

Jeff: yeah, I'm fine. So, have u seen Jane anywhere?

me: No. I haven't.

Jeff: Alright then.

Alright.

Jeff: Can u meet me in the woods in a little while?

me: I'll try. I mean, Stella & Laden r sleeping. So r Serena, Kyle & Alex.

Jeff: Who r they?

me: They're my family.

Jeff: oh. well please meet me.

me: oh alright.

Jeff: Thank u!

me: Yeah, ok.

(end of conversation)

Kyle sat down angrily. "Kyle, stop it. I haven't seen him in 5 years," I say. Kyle flings his hand towards the door. I nod, and go to meet Jeff. Once I get to a lake, I sit down. Suddenly, I feel a pair of lips on my neck. But no one's there. So I continue to wait for Jeff. Then, I feel another pair of lips on my neck again. When I turn around this time, I see Jeff. He looked...less scary. I turn and tackle him with a hug. "Jeff! I missed you so much!" I say. Jeff hugs me tight. "I thought you didn't like me because the way I look," he says. I, for some reason, pull him into a kiss. Jeff kisses back.

After kissing for a minute or two, it turns into rough making out. But I pull away, and mentally slap myself. "What?" Jeff asks. I shake my head. "Nothing, Jeff. I was getting carried away," I say. All of the sudden, Jeff gets pulled by the hair. Serena followed me. "Serena! Its not what you think!" I cry. Jeff grabs a huge rock and flings it to Serena's face. "Serena! No!" I cry, grabbing the rock before it hits Serena. Then, Serena tries to kill Jeff. But I push her off, and grab the knife in my purse. I stab Serena with it. But it was made of pure silver so its gonna hurt when it stabs. Then I realize that she couldn't breathe. The silver in her skin was the most painful thing she could ever go through. Serena tries to breathe but isn't successful. I realize I just killed my sister. I begin to cry when she disappears.

I have never felt so upset in my life. Jeff tries to calm me down. "NO, JEFF! THAT WAS MY SISTER! SHES GONE JUST LIKE MY PARENTS! HOW COULD YOU!? THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!" I tell. Then I run home. Should I blame Jeff for me killing my sister?------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, here's my next chapter!
