"What do you mean he was there? How do you know?" shouted Katie through the phone.

"It was in the letter I got this morning."

I began to relay the events of that morning.

I woke up that morning to a knock on my door and the sound heavy footsteps sprinting down the hall. I practically jumped out of bed and swung open the door only to reveal an empty hallway. I looked down the hall and saw the door to the stairwell slam shut. I slipped out of my door and ran barefoot as fast as I could to the stairwell. I snatched the door handle and pushed the heavy door open I heard the door at the bottom of the stairs open and close and realized I couldn't waste anymore time. I took the stairs two at a time and pushed the door open. I looked around and took off down the hall. I saw a plaid shirt turn the corner and took off once more. Nearly out of breath and hoping my legs didn't give out, I kept running. I finally saw the back of him and ran faster. "Hey you!" I pounced on him and we hit the floor with a thud.

"Get off of me!"

"Not until you tell me why you keep leaving me notes!"

"I have no idea what you're talking about! Get off of me Taylor!"

I suddenly recognized the voice and flipped the guy over so I could see his face. Oh my gosh.. It was my science teacher!

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Mr. Marcelo! I thought you were someone else!"

"Just get off of me and help me up!"

He looked really mad. I should probably skip science today...

After sulking back to my dorm in embarrassment I noticed a red envelope lying outside my door. I looked around and quickly picked it up. I went back in my dorm and read the familiar handwriting.

You looked beautiful last night. I wish I could have talked to you. But your friends were there. I know they would have freaked if they found out who I was. Hopefully I'll get to talk to you soon. I just have to take care of some stuff first and then maybe I can finally tell you who I am. -DG
