Taylor's POV

I slowly opened my eyes to see the angelic Hayley Williams sleeping in my arms. I smiled and kissed the top of her head. I couldn't ask for anybody better. I climbed out of bed and wrapped Hayley in the beds blankets. When I got up I put on some clothing with the memories of last night. When I was finished, I dragged my tired self to the kitchen and grabbed a cup of coffee. When I brought the warm cup up to my lips, my cell phone began to ring.

I slowly put my cup down and made my way to the phone. I picked up my phone and frowned at the cracked case. There was a large crack across the screen. Why? Well when Hayley was on the radio with Josh I sorta chucked my phone across the room. Yes I didn't care at the moment, but now whenever I pick up my phone, the memories of the anger and pain that ran through my body at that moment. I waved the memories away and saw that Jeremy was calling me.

"Hello?" I groaned into the phone yawning.

"Hey, T. I got some news for you.. Might want to sit down." I heard Jeremy's voice ring in the phone.

"Is this good or bad?" I asked a little more awake.

"Um.. Actually can I come over to tell you?" He laughed slightly, and I could tell something was wrong.

"Jeremy just tell me.." I felt that I was fully awake now.

"It's better if I said in person."

Jeremy hung up the phone and I grabbed my cup of coffee. What would Jeremy want to tell me? Jeremy always has a happier tone in his voice, and there's always a spark of light in him. But that tone was gone.. I couldn't put a finger on what he wanted me to know. Maybe not just me.. Should I tell Hayley? Hayley. Maybe she should know that Jeremy is coming over. Maybe she should also know the information that Jeremy longed to provide.

I sighed and crawled upstairs. I slowly entered the bedroom to see Hayley just as I left her. She was wrapped up in the blankets, and there was a soft smile on her face. I stood over the bed and put my hand on Hayley's shoulder. She looked so happy and calm at the moment..

"Hayley..." I bent down and whispered into her ear.

She groaned and turned around to see me standing over her. "Hi Taylor." She said smiling and her eyes were closed.

"Hayley get up Jeremy is coming over!" I sat down on the bed and Hayley slowly sat up. I put my arm on her thigh as she leaned up against me. Her eyes were still closed.

"Make sure to keep that wine away from him." She joked.

I slightly laughed and began to rub Hayley's temple with my thumb. "Come on. I think it's serious."

Hayley's eyes fluttered open, and I saw her beautiful, green pupils. I was beginning to get lost in them when I heard a knock on the door.

"Oh, looks like that's Jeremy!" I announced leaping up from the bed. "You can come down after you're ready." I threw a shirt at Hayley and she gave me an "angry face". I laughed and ran downstairs to open the door.

"Hey Jeremy!" I said when I saw the ghetto cowboy in front of the door. I gestured for him to come in, and he immediately ran to the couch.

"Okay.." I closed the door and sat across from Jeremy. "What's up?"

"You know how they put Josh in an 'Insane Assulum'?" He was talking fast, and (again) the positive tone in his voice seemed to disappear.

"Yes.." I hesitated to answer. This was about Josh. Just the news that Hayley needed more of.

"Well he is actually in prison.. I guess." He let out a deep breath.

"Jeremy, you told me that they sent Josh to a mental facility.." I caught my breath as if it was in mid air.

Jeremy wouldn't make eye contact with me, and I was afraid of what he would say next, "I know, and I lied. They put Josh in a prison, and he pleaded innocent." Jeremy finally looked up at me. "They are taking this to court, Taylor. If the jury finds him innocent, Josh could be out and about again."

My eyes widened, and I felt like the world was crashing down on me. I couldn't imagine the stress and emotions that Hayley would feel from this. She hasn't been focusing lately because of all the damage that Josh caused on her heart, and him being "let go" wouldn't make it any better.

I opened my mouth speak, but I paused when I heard the smash of glass against the wooden floor. Jeremy turned around and I looked up to see that Hayley was standing there. She obviously dropped a glass mug on the floor, and tea was all over the floor. She looked at me with hurt eyes, and began to step back. Her hands were slowly cupping her mouth, as she kept shaking her head. Tears in her eyes.

"No, no he can't be let out." She kept repeating.

Jeremy and I stood up and started to walk up to Hayley.

"No, he can't!" She cried. She kept stepping back further and further.

Eventually her back was against a wall, and she slid down with her hands covering her face. Jeremy looked at me with sympathetic eyes, and he started picking up the pieces of glass on the floor.

I dashed over I Hayley and tried to comfort her, but she tried to crawl away. In the process, a shard of glass from the mug cut her hand deeply. She screamed in pain and the cries began to grow louder.

I cradled Hayley in my arms as I positioned her in my lap. Her head on my chest, and her now bloody hand in mine.

"Hayley, does it hurt?" I asked, and I get tears of my own begin to slip.

She sighed and looked up at me with hurt eyes. "I'll be in more pain if Josh is let out."
