A T T A C H M E N T

Attachment. All your life this was something you fear the most.

The feeling to get attached. Maybe you even promised yourself not to get attached with any body.

But then you find yourself breaking that same rule.

Suddenly you find yourself attached to her.

As things went on, you start to realize...

It's not attachment you're afraid of. What you really fear is the ideology that when things get attached, they eventually split apart.

You're afraid of having to take the pain of loosing her.

All your life you thought it would be easier if you were not attached to anyone else. It will save you from getting hurt. It will save you from disappointment.

For so long you boxed yourself in that tiny space of yours. Avoiding every one that came who offered attachment with you. Refusing to take and return their love and effort. Because you feared being attached, you somehow pushed people away.

But she. She was an exception.

She made you stronger. Or maybe you chose to be a little stronger for her. Because of her you took the courage to step out of your bubble. To stop locking yourself from that box, and step aside from your safe zone.

Because of her, you were suddenly able to do things you never knew you could.

In a way, she turned you into a different person.

She made you better. She taught you that maybe having some company isn't that bad at all.

She took your fear away and turned them to love.

Once you two got attached, there's no way you wanted to be apart from each other.

Because of that both of you knew that you were in love.  Maybe a little too in love.

And with hope conquering your souls, there you are.

Together.
