Do you know the feeling of being trapped in a place, like a prisoner, such that you can't act freely like you ought to? The kind that even though you have your freedom of movement, at least, to some extent, you still can never be free? A restriction so strong that even when your captor is no where near, you still can't move around all for the fear of mistakenly bumping into them?

That is exactly how Mira feels. Maybe an exception for Claire's persuasive spirit.

She would often come to her room and haul her out of bed and from there, she would help cheer her up. And Mira is grateful that even though she never told Claire or anyone what had happened, she will still find a way to make her happy. Even Evan does the same, whenever he's around and not hearkening to the call of Julius or any of the Smith's.

That's the only way she has survived this long.

It's a month now since Julius has set the boundaries between them without giving her a say and she can't blame him. He owns everything in this house except for her clothes, accessories, shoes and bags and herself.

But, she would be kidding herself if she claims to own herself. Truth be told, he practically own her and everything she has because she's his fiancee, arranged or not.

And she doesn't know why she hasn't reacted to his bluntness. A smirk graced her lips. So she hopes that she knows what she is doing by keeping quiet and not protesting.

But that isn't the issue now. The issue is her inability to get out of bed since she woke up because today is a Saturday and he would be home almost all of the day, so she would be indoors and never show her face even if Claire try to coax her into coming down.

She had learnt from Claire about his early morning exercise. On work days he wakes up as early as five thirty and go for a drive, run, and whatever. Then on Saturday's, he would be out for nothing less than three hours because he would visit the gym and race alone.

Like, he has got a lot of things going on with him. Casting aside the thought of Julius, Mira wobbly got out of bed for her bathroom.

"Perfect way to start my boring day." She snidely mutter.

Julius walk down the stairs as soon as the call with his mother ended with him pretending to be cool. His nose scrunch up in disgust, a deep frown makes its way to his face as he head immediately for the kitchen where he had found Claire on his arrival from the gym earlier on.

The frustrating call from his Mum about the family dinner they used to have on every last Saturday of the month pushed him to the edge. She kept telling him to not forget he is not to come alone this time and it's over three times this week. He groaned.

There's a woman in his house.

When was the last time he even laid his eyes on her? He can't recollect and it's good that she didn't show up before him since their last encounter. But that is about to be ruined.

Stupid dinner, he thought. He wasn't really a fan of it anymore for a long time now. It was always like the damn event is a monthly avenue for everyone, his Mum especially, to pry into his life matters and he is not comfortable with it.

Claire raised her brows at a fuming Julius who is yet to realize he is standing at the entrance of the kitchen while mumbling incoherently under his breath.

"Good morning Julius." She said, startling him back to the present. "Is anything the matter?" She look at him with concern.

Julius swallowed and avoid Claire's question. "Good morning Mrs Wheeler."
