Chapter 11

Today is the art competition and I just got a ticket for it. The reason is because I really want to see Maya's painting, I think she is a great artist and friend.

So I got change into some good clothes and of to the art competition.

When I was there I saw loads of other paintings and they each had there own beauty, then I saw Maya with her painting explaining  what it is about. 

I went up to her.

Lucas:"Surprise."

Maya:"You almost made me fall you know."

Lucas:"Sorry."

Maya:"It's ok."

Lucas:"So who inspired your painting."

Maya:"Well this picture that I found at an old house near by to where I live."

Lucas:"Can I see it?"

Maya:"Sure."

I took the picture from the table and saw a girl with the background of the Eiffel tower.

The girl looked familiar I looked more closely and to see it was Jade.  

 Lucas:"The background is different to the one in the picture."

Maya:"Well that because I used a different picture for the back ground here it is.

I looked at the other picture to see it was a black and white background. 

Lucas:"Well Jade would like it very much."

Maya:"Jade?"

Lucas:"Yeah the girl in the picture is Jade."

Maya:"Think about it it actually makes sense because last week I met her there and she said she always come's there but I don't know why."

Lucas:"I don't know why either you should ask her."

Maya:"Yep I should."

After that the head master asked every one too sit down to announce the winers. 

Head mater:"So thank you every one for coming to the art competition and now I will announce the winers are in third place Brad in second place Sean and in first place Maya."

I was so happy that I even hugged her before she could even get up to get the award.

After that I went home to my house, I open the door to see my brother grab me by the hand and take me into his room. 

Jackson:"You like a girl?"

Lucas:"Well."

Jackson:"And it is Maya."

Lucas:"Wait how do you know?"

Jackson:"So you do like her."

Lucas:"Yep."

Jackson:"I have to tell mum she needs to know that you finally like a girl more than just a friend and that the girl is Maya."

Lucas:"No you can not tell her."

Jackson:"Ok I will not tell her under one condition."

Lucas:"Which is?"

Jackson:"You have to tell me when you liked her then pushed your feelings away and then realized that you could not push your feelings for her."

Lucas:"Wow you really are good genius."

Jackson:"I may be little but I have good observation skills."

Lucas:"Well I liked Maya when are hands touched the day we first met."

Jackson:"And when did you push your feelings for her away?"

Lucas:"Well when I pushed the feelings on the same day because it all happened on the first day and I wanted to get her first before I start telling her I feel."

Jackson:"And when did you realize you could not push your feelings away?"

Lucas:"When it was Christmas and she took me to see a move as a Christmas present and when she wore the dress I gave her."

Jackson:"Wow you can tell she means a lot to you."

Lucas:"Yeah she does mean a lot to me."

Jackson:"In that case I won't tell mum but when are you planing to tell her?"

Lucas:"Once a full year has pass that is how long it takes to know a person."

Jackson:"That long?"

Lucas:"Yes now stop asking me questions and get to sleep."

Jackson:"OK."

So I tucked my little brother to sleep then went to my bedroom and fell a sleep.
