Home is where the light is

After getting the rune, the fireteam went back to the city. Without anyone seeing him, Fored returned to his house while the other two guardians went to go talk with Cayde, Zavala, and Ikora rey.

"Wait wait wait, so you're telling me that my main man, Fored, has become Taken, and is somehow controlling it?" Said Cayde-6.

"And you're saying you let him into the city?!" Zavala said. "Do you now how much danger you're putting everyone in? He could kill us all!"

"He's fine for the most part, we think that his exponential Light is what is giving him control." Jocelyn explained. "Because he has strong Light, he can ignore the command of Oryx, which is what is making have control."

Varkis whispers to Jocelyn "I'm going to go check on him." And walk into the city and over to fored's house.

When Varkis reached Fored's house he noticed that all the lights were off. He opened the door and said "hey Fored? You in here?"

Two small white orbs looked at Varkis then Fored turned on the lights.

The room had a TV, a coffee table, a lamp, a rug, and Fored was sitting on the couch. Fored looked Varkis right in the eyes and asked "What am I?"

Varkis sat down next to Fored and said "you are a guardian, you are my friend, you are a exo, etcetera etcetera."

"I'm taken AND a guardian, I'm Light AND Dark, I'm good AND evil." Fored said. "Why did this happen? Why? Why me...?" If Fored could cry he would.

Jocelyn walked in "They said he was able to stay in the city, but even on act of violence in the city and he will have to leave." She sat down with her two teammates.

They all sat there, Fored sad, Varkis trying to cheer up his friend, and Jocelyn really just wanted to watch TV. she looked around for the TV remote.

Fored sat up and said "I lost the TV remote a long time ago, you have to manually turn it on."

Jocelyn sighed and walked up to the TV and turned it on, then changed to the channel she wanted. She sat back down.

Varkis smiled at Fored. Fored looked at the ground.

"You can't stay sad forever, come on. Just say something to me that isn't depressing" Varkis said.

"Something that isn't depressing." Fored said jokingly.
