"I have the flashlight, guys," Bonnie murmured, "time to get to work."
"You didn't wuss out this time, lad?" The withered red fox chuckled, standing up, dusting off his brown shorts. The chicken behind him stood. Her large broken jaw hung open, exposing the endoskeleton that lied inside her.
"Shut up, Foxy," Bonnie grumbled, shining the flashlight at his eye.
Foxy covered his eye with his hand and his sharp, shiny hook, "Damn ye, you know that hurts!"
Bonnie stumbled over the parts and towards the corner the scrap was planted in. Taking a closer look, the scrapped toy appeared to be a cat! They were tawny with a beige stomach and had a salmon bow tied around their neck. They were...small.
"It's a cat," Chica pointed out, "a tiny one at that."
"Freddy and Foxy will have to fix them," Bonnie responded quietly, "With you no longer having hands and me, with no left arm, we won't be of much help."
"And the fact ye can barely see," Foxy commented, unscrewing his hook. He then placed a blue screwdriver within the wiring of his endoskeleton.
"Quiet, eye patch," The faceless bun retorted with a small hint of annoyance. He shined the light around the room until he found the brown, decayed bear with his legs crossed and his hand behind his head.
"What do you need, BunBun?" He asked, tapping a foot. His polished, jet black bow tie shined in the luminous aura of the flash light. A matching top hat sat on his thin, furred skull.
"Help Foxy fix the scrap," Bonnie responded.
"What if I don't want to?"
"C'mon, Freddy," The rabbit sighed, "this gives us more of a chance to get back at the toys for replacing us."
"Fine, fine..." The bear lifted himself from his position and walked towards the other robotic animals, "so, what is it?"
"Cat Toy," Chica answered with a giggle, "We'll call them that."
"I'm sure that's not their name but ok," Bonnie heaved himself up and stepped back. Chica did the same while Foxy and Freddy did their job of fixing the scrapped toy.
It turns out, a chunk of the skull is missing, along with the metals of the right arm and left foot. Finally getting the circuits working, Foxy put a lavender bandana over it's head, hiding the missing cranium piece. Freddy placed duct tape around the arm and foot in an attempt to keep them together.
Cat Toy only had one working eye, the other non-intact eye was covered by the scarf. The operation switch somehow stayed safe from whatever happened to them, even though where it was on their neck was almost destroyed.
"Is that it?" Freddy asked, looking up and down the fixed animatronic for extra measures.
"Seems to be, matey," Foxy replied, "turn it on."
Freddy reached behind the head of Cat Toy and flicked the switch on. They jerked forward and thrashed then went still. A blue eye flickered on but suddenly went black with an ominous white pupil.
The little white dot rolled around, looking everywhere in sight.
"What is your name?" Freddy said gently.
The head shook back and forth, slightly shaking the one unharmed tawny ear. It reached it's left arm out at Freddy, the white pupil dead on him. When it touched his shoulder, it made a hiss type noise and pulled away quickly.
"It's ok," Freddy whispered, softly, "I am Freddy, what is your name?"
"M-M-Mellsey-y-y...y..." It said in voice distortion, head shaking back and forth once more.
"What did ye do, Freddy?" Foxy asked looking over at the brown bear in shock, "And why are you being so nice?"
Freddy sighed, "One, it's not you, Two, I didn't do a damn thing, I was only introducing myself without scaring...her?" Cat Toy or Mellsey nodded and looked back at Bonnie and Chica.
"I'm Bonnie the Bunny," The bun introduced himself, "We mean no harm." He sat down and leaned against the wall.
"I'm Chica the Chicken," Chica greeted.
"I be Foxy the Pirate," The red fox greeted, "Sailor of all the seven seas!" Mellsey made a little giggle, though it was distorted. Everyone sat down against the walls, looking at the small cat.
"So, what happened to you, Mellsey?" Freddy asked in a placid tone.
"W-Well...I-I-I w-was at the...the...arcade-e and k-kids puuuuushed...pushed pushed pushed me and I laaaanded on the Ch-Chipper and Sons lumber c-co machine and th-that's all IIIIII rememberrr..." Mellsey explained in crookedness. She was rocking back and forth, looking around the room at the others.
"Oh, sad..." Bonnie commented. Thinking he was sounding sarcastic, Chica jabbed his side.
"What do ye know about the toys, lass?" Foxy asked, turning his head towards Mellsey.
"Th-Th-Theyyyyyy are oooook...th-th-they do-o-o-on't do much to h-harm anyone i-i-innnn anyyyyyyway," She replied, vocals making a buzzing sound afterwards.
What felt like a few minutes turned to an hour of discussion on the toy animatronics. Learning that the main toys, Toy chica, Freddy, Bonnie, and Foxy, aren't all as bad as they seem. Balloon boy can be annoying but is programmed with child mentality. There was one more, whom Mellsey did not name, who was timid, shy, and soft spoken, not revealing herself too much.
Abruptly, a red dot started blinking then stayed on in the top corner of the room. Freddy stood and looked at it.
"Wh-Wh-What is is th-thaaaaaaaa..." Cat Toy asked, her white pupil traveling to the red dot's direction. She stood, wobbling at first but gained balance.
"It's the security camera," Chica fed back, "From the security guard."
"Why-y do they n-n-need a guuuaaard....we a-are fine..." Mellsey murmured, twitching her intact ear.
Bonnie shook his head, "We need guards here incase someone breaks in and such...also making sure we stay in line."
The flashlight went out. The only thing visible were everyone's glossy black eyes with the ominous white glaring speck.
Bang, bang, bang, said the knock on the door.
