Ebikombere and Ebimobere were growing up so fast, at their little age, they could recognize their parents, and obeyed the instructions of their parents.
In one occasion, Tina told her three years of children not to eat from others.
Ebis, as she called them for short, "don't eat anything anybody gives you okay, " her children nodded their heads, as if they understood what she was saying.
Her husband was laughing at her and also mocking her in a lovely way.
"Dear, how do u think these kids understand what u are saying, they are barely three years old."
"Oh dear replied Tina, if only theory could, I don't want them eating from people, I nor dey oh, she said in pidgin, they are my eyes and nose.
" Don't be scared the God that brought them for us will keep them. "
Amen Amen Amen chorused Tina in a loud tone.
That same week, Ebikombere and Ebimobere were playing outside their house when their neighbor who just arrived from work gave them each a packet of biscuit. He opened each packer and put them in their hands.
Instantly, they refused and when he pressed harder, the more they cried and shouted. This awoke Tina who was trying to get a nap.
"Oh my God my kids, that should be them, what the problem she shouted as she ran to where they were.
" it nothing oh, madam I just wanted to give these beautiful angels the biscuit I bought for my son, since they were much I decided to give them few."
" oh really, thanks sir
Maybe they are not interested ."
Soon, the young man left and immediately he did, she carried her twins so happily, "so u really understood what I said, may God be praised."
When Tare returned, that was the first thing. Tina told him and he was so surprised .
" this means we should not take these children lightly oh. They are really blessings from God. And I praise the day God gave them to us"
Husband and wife were so happy , as they embraced themselves so tightly. The set of twins were so happy and were smiling like who saw father Christmas.
And that was how these children grew up into two beautiful girls.
